Nova Alegria

Our stay at Nova Alegria (our “Newfound Happiness”) was absolutely wonderful. The location is excellent, restaurants, cafés, and public transportation, making it easy to explore Lisbon. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We arrived in Lisbon at 6:00 AM after traveling from Spain, even though our check-in time wasn’t until 12:00 PM. Despite this, they kindly allowed us to stay in the living room area so we could rest, freshen up, and recover from our journey. This thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made a huge difference after an early arrival. 🫶🫶🫶 Ofcourse, special thank you to Carlos, who truly made our stay even better. He was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always willing to help with everything we asked for. His kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I loved everything about this property: The proximity to the city center and the boutique, shops, cafes and bars with everything being in walking distance. The authentic, homely feel, the cleanliness and of course the beautiful cafe next door and pizza shop opposite.

The property was under construction (in the main corridor outside next to my room) whilst I was staying and at times when I was working from home. Fortunately I was out most times during the day. Could have done with some more tea options maybe a few biscuits. Having said, the espresso in the waiting room was a nice touch.

The location is great and the room is clean

It’s a shared airbnb. You don’t meet any of the staff, everything is automated. Very unpersonal. Especially because getting in is difficult without help. Also, there should have been tea but wasn’t.
