    Very helpful staff and in a cool hostel. I had a single room which was nice and roomy with a great view over the city. Windows fully open up which airs out the room. They have chat group to keep you updated of the events they run and they have a great common area at the bar to dribk and relax. Huge kitchen to allow you to cook if you need to. Great location near to bars and restaurants and not hard to walk to places of interest.

    When I checked in, I asked if I could leave my luggage as it was before check in time. Of course it was okay, but the lady that was helping me was quite rude and seemed like I was wasting her time asking stupid questions. When we went to put my bag in, I wanted to grab my sunscreen out of my bag quickly. Then when we were leaving the room, the locker wasn't locked and I asked if I should get my lock out, she laughed and said the door to the room is always locked and no one has access to it. As a solo female traveler it made me a bit nervous but I went with it. But there was another man that walked in to get stuff out of the locker when we were in there without saying anything. When I was leaving the hostel, I could hear this volunteer laugh with the other volunteer and say "that girl had no idea what she was doing" and it made me feel gutted. Other than that one volunteer encounter, my time at this hostel was great. The lockers in the rooms are big, the bathrooms were clean at times but I don't expect full cleanliness when I travel in hostels. The events at night were a great way to socialize and meet people. I would stay here again most likely.
