Enjoyable stay in Kayseri

We were not given the junior suite we reserved. Although we loved the room we were given, the bathroom being downstairs was a bit difficult, certainly an issue for older people like us or those not so mobile. Breakfast was good and always served with a smile. The hotel is in a beautiful historic area and within easy walking distance of the castle and other sites.

We booked the junior suite as it stated the outstanding feature of the room is the hot tub. On looking on another booking site this room did not appear to have a hot tub so we wrote to the hotel and asked, they answered that no it doesn't, we asked them to change this misleading quote on Booking.com but they have not done so to date. Most of the staff were friendly except the young lady who checked us in, she only spoke to us to do the formalities but no information proffered about restaurant, breakfast or anything else, even though we can understand Turkish so it was not a language barrier problem. On a positive note, we had to check out and leave the hotel very early to catch a train, the night porter could not have been more helpful, when we called him at reception he quickly unlocked the gates and even rang for a taxi for us when the one we had arranged did not arrive, he carried our bags and we felt nothing was too much trouble for him.

Quiet spot in Kayseri

Accommodating and responsive staff (limited English) in old, nicely restored facilities located in a quiet spot across the avenue from the bustling city streets. Stayed just one evening with a family of four before an early flight. Great morning breakfast. We’d stay again if in Kayseri.

Taxi driver had trouble finding it due to private gate with no signage for the hotel. Keep the windows closed at night and use the AC, some mosquitos.

Great place to stay!!

Breakfast was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfortable, and place was very quiet. I slept so well there! I also liked they preserved much of the history of the place. Highly recommend.

A little hard to get to, because road leading to it is in a historical section, and it's been permanently closed. Navigation doesn't work with the address of hotel. Use the address of hotel nearby, and then can drive in by going through an auto park.
