Very courteous staff, good restaurants and food arrangements
The washroom attached to our room was smelly. They kept the room window open to mitigate the odour. The moment it was closed, the bad odour became over bearing.

Although we were on a non smoking floor in the evenings there was a strong smell of smoke in our room!

The mountain view from the ninth floor is truly breathtaking. The upstairs restaurant offers a simple yet satisfying dining experience, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine or a soft drink. The lobby downstairs, complete with a bar and restaurant, is beautifully decorated, and the entire hotel staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly.
The room was comfortable and well-furnished. However, be sure to check your room for any unpleasant odors, especially in the bathroom, as well as the temperature before settling in.
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and quickly helped in a professional manner. When we were shown to our room and the suitcases were inside, we realized we were breathing in a strong foul, sewer-like odor. Moreover, the room was very warm and no window was open. I immediately went to the reception, and they promptly offered us another room. An employee joined to inspect. Room 908, which smelled terrible, was replaced by 910, but both the employee and we smelled the same foul, sewer-like odor. So it became room 911, which smelled reasonably clean.
We soon discovered the air conditioning was not working. Inquiry revealed the system was switched off due to the period of the year, winter time (we were here in October). It was really sweltering in the room, the same temperature you feel inside a car parked in the summer sun. We almost felt sick. Luckily, a window could be opened, and using a clothes hanger between the door, some ventilation was possible.
A staff member brought us fruit, chocolate, and nuts to ease our discomfort. It took 14 hours before the room was sufficiently aired to reach an acceptable temperature. The window had to stay open constantly, and during the day, the curtains had to be drawn. This brought quite some noise since a busy street runs in front of the hotel. The foul, sewer-like odor we smelled in the other rooms returned only once for about 30 minutes, but it was not as intense as before.
