Perfect location, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Feels dated. Noisy club nearby. Hotel wasn’t busy yet we were allocated a room across the corridor from noisy building works. Air con didn’t get room very cool even after hours on and despite being cold outside.

Super comfy bed! Lovely view of the mountain from our room. Nice large pool and sauna and hamam available in each changing room. You must wear a swim cap but these can be purchased for around £1 there. Great location for the airport. Breakfast had lots of choice (not that tasty though).

Parking wasn’t fantastic as the parking lot for hotel was small. There is paid parking near by though if you do get stuck. Outside the hotel was busy and noisy which could be heard in the room at times.

The location was perfect for us. ELIF ALEYNA on reception was so helpful trying to help us sort out our flight issues. Thank you. Bed was huge and comfy. Pool was lovely. We were told we needed to wear swim caps. Fine but please enforce it as others were blatantly ignoring this rule.

In our room we had Dirty water glasses. Holes in the bedding. Frayed hard bath towels Hallway carpet was dirty. Two minutes warning for the end of breakfast buffet was very strange.

Everything was very clean and well prepared. The staff were super helpful and responsive. Bathroom was well stocked with everything you may need. It is exactly in the center of the city and the rooms are spacious. Very clean and very comfortable.

Couldn’t find the blow dryer.

the facility is kind of old. When we entered the room after check-in, there were some wall repair tools around, and the phone didn't work. Breakfast quality was avarage.

We had a great stay! The room was huge, the breakfast had an amazing variety of sweet and savoury options, including freshly made omelette, and the location was very convenient. Valet parking was available free of charge. In the same building there's also a supermarket, a Starbucks, and a variety of fastfood restaurants. The hotel is only a 15min drive from the airport. The hotel also had a big swimming pool, a sauna (men and women are separate) and a steam room (hamam), both a mixed gender one and one for only men / women.

The hamam was a bit too hot. While I love heat, the stones were so hot that you could barely sit on them. While the staff was very friendly, they didn't speak much English, so when we asked the receptionist what there is to see in Kayseri, they weren't able to recommend anything. However, there was a flyer with a Kayseri sightseeing map in the room, which was very helpful. The TV has no Netflix. There are only Turkish channels and world news.

The furniture was out dated and I believe for such 5 star hotel should have better furniture.

This hotel is perfect for us especially for the cost. We just passed by the city and didn't stay long. The hotel is a bit old but has plenty of facilities. The room was huge, it was much bigger than we expected. The space made our stay very comfortable. Coming from other cities in the countrt where the room was much smaller, this was a great relief. Definitely worth more than the price.

I usually don’t like posting reviews, but the hospitality and cleanliness made me take a minute. I like to nitpick but there is genuinely nothing I can give as feedback. The minibar was empty but that was solved by a quick call to reception. The fact that there’s smoker rooms as well made me very comfortable.

Cigarettes are a lot more expensive in the hotel than outside markets.

Great location, close to everything you want and need. Our twin room was quiet and comfortable for a short stay. Everyone was helpful and attentive.

Breakfast needs some more unique items such as honey on a comb. I recommend croissant with scrambled eggs inside it.

The shop

The hotel manager was very, very arrogant, first of all there was no luggage rack in the hotel, the terrace doors were closed, I had them opened by the employees, there was no electricity for 15 minutes, we ordered the service, I didn't pay at the door, I said call your manager, the manager came, I was embarrassed, I paid at the door to avoid any problems, even though I had booked a grand suite. Also, when I checked out, they said the service for the other room wasn't paid, I went back to the hotel and paid. I was very upset that such a 5-star hotel is managed by complete barbarians.

It’s a high end luxury hotel as you would expect from it. Perfect staff, quiet room. My only advice would be if you order room service you must try the club sandwich, it’s legendary. Also the Fettuccine pasta was amazing.

I rented two rooms for the night. Neither room had a working A/C. After the first technician came in and couldn't do anything (completely unqualified to diagnose and/or fix HVAC), the second technician said it couldn't be fixed at that time. I was never offered different rooms and it was late and we were exhausted from our travels so we just sucked it up and went to sleep. The front desk staff member seemed completely disengaged from helping or caring about our issues.

No bath towels were present, empty bottles of conditioners, air conditioning was blowing hot air. We had to open the windows to sleep and it was very noisy outside.

If you want to stay in Kayseri, that should be your first choice. Absolutely great, from reception to cleanliness and the staff in general. Breakfast was rich and the amenities were top notch. Thank you for the easy early check in and the automatic upgrade of my room to Executive King Room. The room was great and the look outside from the window was the best watch of the city. Definitely next time again.

Everything! From the staff helping parking our vehicle to taking our lugagge to the room. The breakfast, the view from the room the rooftop restaurant was insane,a chef from the masterchef works there. The swimming pool, the rooftop view kf mount Ergei after a swim is special. The gym has all the equipment you can think of. There's even a hairdresser in the hotel! Bed was so amazing so comfortable and room so spacious

Clean rooms & great facilities.

Large room, exceptionally clean, nice staff, good location in the centre. Reasonable price for 5 stat hotel. Huge and comfy bed (once you lie down, you don't want to get up).

Air conditioning inside the room did not seem to work very well. Non smoking room still had cigarette smell in it. Possibly because the hotel is quite old.

We had an exceptional experience at Wyndham Grand Kayseri as a family of five with two rooms. Firstly, the location of the hotel is superb. Kayseri is not really a city with tourist attractions, however the vast majority of things to see are in and around the town square - on the edge of which the Wyndham is situated. Given the location and shape of the hotel, the views from the rooms are also stunning. Whether you get the Mt Erciyes view or not (one of our rooms did and the other didn't), the views of the city are great all around. The hotel is also beautifully decorated albeit being somewhat antique. Decor is consistent across the hotel lobby and corridors, and the rooms are plush. Rooms are also very large and clean, much larger (and cleaner!) than expected after reading the various reviews. Room service is fantastic - cleaners would not skip any days and would do a thorough job. Furthermore, the staff are all exceptional from the reception to the cleaning and breakfast staff - all are polished and friendly. We almost felt like we were being fought over to be served which was wonderful! Breakfast also exceeded our expectations with a large selection of hot and cold options, including freshly made omelettes and pancakes made to your taste. Overall, an exceptional experience but there are a few issues that we would love the hotel to take note of and resolve in order to take the experience to another level! We'll definitely be back!

There were a few things that proved slightly disappointing throughout the stay - chiefly the smells around the hotel. Given that there are some smoking floors, the hotel corridors unfortunately all smell of smoke, even on the non-smoking floors. The smell is rather pungent. Additionally, the bathrooms (as clean as they are) accumulate a kind of damp/drain smell upon a few hours of use after cleaning, and this smell is also quite unpleasant. However, I'm not sure what exactly they do during cleaning, but it does seem to fix the problem temporarily. However, just to reiterate, both the smoking and damp smell are due to the hotel being dirty at all. The hotel is very clean overall. Perhaps the smells lend to the fact that the hotel is old and antique - perhaps it's time for a refurbishment? Possibly the most inconvenient experience about the stay was the faulty room key readers. The room keys would work no more than 2-3 times before requiring reprogramming, and over the 3-day stay, we must have had to have keys reprogrammed over 10 times. Though while extremely inconvenient, this isn't a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of. Finally, there is also loud, blaring music in evenings on the ground floor when you walk into the lobby. Thankfully this doesn't reach the rooms (at least not on the 6th floor where we were), but can be unpleasant when you are in the lobby.
