Location great, flat very clean, beds comfortable

Location is excellent for walking to Cheltenham shopping area, the Brewery Quarter and only a few minutes’ walk to Lidl for supplies. Beds were really comfortable with lovely linen. It’s probably about 45 minutes’ drive to some of the Cotswolds villages, depending on roadworks and closures. The flat is warm and a good size, very clean. The carpark behind is convenient. Kitchen is very clean and has everything (except a dishwasher, but that didn’t matter to us). There is a combined washing machine/dryer and a clothes rack. Heated towel rail. Lots of power points for devices.

Lots of signs, notices and instructions everywhere, mainly safety and fire regulations. Living and dining furniture is green velour or something, serviceable, clean and comfortable enough but not attractive. As another reviewer has mentioned, the paint work could use a freshen up. If you sleep in the main bedroom, bring a sleep mask because the lights outside can’t be completely blocked out by the curtains as they don’t reach the floor. I pegged the curtains closed but the strong lights outside come in around the edges. I had a sleep mask so it didn’t really matter to me.

A great location and roomy apartment, but needs a bit of TLC

The apartment is sited close to the Brewery Quarter of Cheltenham where there are many 'high street' restaurants and bars. It was generally quiet, although you could hear other people moving around in the neighbouring apartment(s). Parking was good and a bonus for a city centre location. The apartment was spacious for the two of us.

The apartment appears tired and is in need of a good re-fresh. The painted walls could be re-painted to cover the marks and areas where paint has been chipped away. The heating system is via electric wall heaters - the one in the double bedroom didn't work each time it was turned on. Not sure what the problem was. The one in the lounge was efficient and soon warmed the room. Externally, the rear of the property is lit up at night, but the bedroom curtains are do not provide adequate cover against the windows to stop the outside light entering. The curtains are also difficult to pull together due to the height of the windows and the pole probably wants polishing so that the curtains slide more easily. The curtains in the front room are almost transparent and not long enough.

Lovely appartment, excellent host communication, noisy road at night.

The appartment was very comfortable: modern and cosy. Kitchen had all we needed to prepare breakfast and warm up some dinner one evening. We loved the location - being so close to great restaurants, pubs and the Everyman Theatre. Also appreciated the parking - although it was not secured in terms of gated entrance. Easy access from the parking to the appartment which was in the basement but had sufficient light in the living room and one of the bedrooms. Lovely little decking area with a view of the neighbour's beautiful garden. Excellent communication with Fortuna Grounds - I would give them 11/10.

The crockery and cutlery was not clean and we re-washed anything we used. The outside furniture on the deck had not had a good wipe down for a while it looked like: but was easily remedied. The noise from the road was unpleasant: the windows are not double-glazed and even when they are completely shut, the busy road caused interrupted sleep for both of us. The one bedroom is dark as it doesn't allow much natural light in - however the second bedroom and living room and kitchen was light enough for us.

The location for the town centre, also the location for touring the Cotswold villages. The property was comfortable, clean and had all utensils just like home.

wow , what an unbelievable stay here at Maragarets Ground in cheltenham. Exceeded our expectations , clean , comfy , close to everything around the city centre , friendly hosts , easy check in , free car parking , we couldnt of asked for anything better . Thanks , we will be back again as we are working in the area again soon . First class

Great stay.

Great location as it is a short walk to town. Lovely modern apartment with comfortable chairs and sofa to sit on, beds were also comfortable. It was handy to have storage space in the bathroom for our toiletries as in other apartments we have been to, never had this.

There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes onto when getting ready so had to put them on the floor or on the toilet seat which is not hygienic. It was not easy to close the curtains in the lounge in the evening as neither of us was tall enough.

Everything was great, nice flat,good location, amazing mattresses, good shower, all amenities, we stayed on the ground floor apartment, I love the facilities to walk everywhere in the city centre, I would recommend it 10/10. Aslo Jakub the manager is a nice decent person, very quick response and easy going! I would back soon! thanks

Great location,lovely and clean.

The sofa and dining furniture were flimsy and not comfortable. The sofa especially uncomfortable, after being out all day and wanting to relax, this sofa was not big enough or relaxing at all. The windows could benefit from half blinds/shutters or film to stop people staring in.

Fab new apartment.

Recently and very well furnished. Everything worked and was super clean. Nice level of contact from the hosts. Location is great, easy walk to the squares for the lit festival.

Noise from upstairs flat was quite noticeable. Curtains were hard to open and close. Would still happily stay here again. Some more hooks for towels would be useful.

Good location with free parking and restaurants a couple of minutes’ walk away. Suitable for my elderly parents, who both have mobility issues.

A coffee machine would have been great, but with a Starbucks nearby, that wasn’t a big problem!

A really happy time with my family

rooms were spacious and the flat was in the perfect location for us

The quality of some of the furniture and fittings, the sofa and carpet and dining table, weren't as high quality as the rest of the flat. The tiny bottles of shower gel seemed mean given how much i was paying. The towels however were great quality, as was the bed linen.

REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE!!!

The description read as it sleeps 6 which is a big lie as the sofabed provided that they claim to sleep two is not at all true. When we called the owner, they said they don't have any alternate option nor have any additional mattress that we could use. The two nights was the most uncomfortable ones that me and my husband had. Will definitely not recommend this place.
