A small thing - I don’t drink tea or instant coffee so it’s great when there is the option (in the room) of a herbal tea bag!

The 'Cooked Breakfast' charge was shown in the website to be for a 'Very good breakfast'. Cooked Breakfast only had one small slice of bacon - bacon is the prime expected part of a 'cooked breakfast'. On the second day I opted for a cereal and toast option advertised as an additional cost of £5 - I was charged £6. The booking.com website shows the price to be £90 per night - I was charged £190 - £10 more! The website says the rooms have 'Daily housekeeping'. There was no evidence that there had been anyone into my room on the second day - the towels were as I left them, the waste bin had not been emptied and the coffee mug was not cleaned. The floorboards in the room above No. 7 were very 'creaky' and interrupted my sleep.

The price is reasonable, and the location is close to Headington shops and bus stops.

During my first day and night, the radiator did not work at all, and the room was very cold. It was impossible to sleep or rest because of the low temperature. Since there was no reception or staff available during the night, I had to endure the cold until morning. When I reported this issue the next day, I was told that I should have sent a message via Booking.com during the night. However, there was no way for me to know that I was expected to contact the property through Booking.com in such a situation, especially when there was no staff or contact information available at night.
