We had the absolute pleasure of staying in this stunning house on the beautiful island of Kefalonia, and it was everything we hoped for — and more. The House We were impressed by how impeccably clean and tastefully decorated everything was. The attention to detail created an atmosphere that was both elegant and incredibly homey. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the crispy linen and towels smelled like heaven — something you don’t always find even in luxury hotels. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Mornings began with yoga on the spacious balcony, accompanied by the calming sounds of the sea and a breathtaking view. At night, we were treated to a sky full of bright stars, unobstructed by city lights — a truly magical sight. Just steps from the house is the sea, with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, or kayaking. It felt like having a private slice of paradise right outside our door. The Surroundings The location is peaceful and quiet, far from the crowded tourist spots. Nature here is untouched, with dramatic coastlines and some of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen. The nearby town of Lixouri is charming, with a handful of authentic tavernas offering delicious local dishes and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The whole area feels wonderfully undiscovered and not overly touristic — ideal for travelers looking for a more genuine Greek island experience. The Hosts What truly elevated our stay were the incredible hosts. Warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Dimitris and Dionisis shared invaluable advice about hidden beaches, scenic drives, and must-see spots on the island. One of the highlights was a private boat trip they organized for us, where they showed us secret coves and crystal-clear bays.

Nothing, our stay was perfect!

The owners of the acomadation were lovely people who could not do enough to please us and make us feel welcomed, they cooked freshly caught fish with beautiful vegetables from their garden and delivered personally as a gift, along with plates of delicious cherry tomatoes from their garden and a bottle of homemade wine. The beds were very comfortable not the traditional rather firm Greek mattresses, for us this was important, the air con was high quality, quiet and very effective, the property has enough cooking equipment ready to use if you required it. A comfortable veranda with a sea view was also very enjoyable. Beautiful property and lovely people who were always there to help and give you delicious treats,

The bed sheets and towels changed twice in two weeks, (we personally like 2-3 times weekly) the property didn't have access to a washing machine so travel into town or hand wash.

The property was done to a very high standard and very comfortable. The outside space and views were fantastic. The location of Lixouri was perfect for us. The owners were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to return.

There was nothing we didn't like. Our teenage girls were initially disappointed to find their room didn't have a door but all the other wonderful things about this property far outweighed this.
