Katarina Apartments Kefalonia - Sea View

We stayed here for a week recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartments are about 25 minutes from the airport on the main road leading up to the north of the island. It’s also just a 5 minute drive to the car park where you can walk over the stone bridge to Argostoli (which we did most days). There are 6 apartments in the lock - 2 on each floor. There is a communal pool and plenty of loungers around it if you wanted a day in the sun. The apartments themselves are perfect for a couple and consist of a kitchen/dining/lounge area with a balcony, a small shower room/toilet and a double bedroom with another balcony. There is a AC unit in the lounge and bedroom so you can protect yourself from the high temperatures outside. We used the cooking facilities most lunchtimes and it was fine to make simple meals. Ivan was a super host and really made us feel at home. He helped with recommending restaurants and places to visit and was very generous on our last day allowing us to stay as long as we wanted for our evening flight. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt it was an ideal location to both explore around Argostoli and the beaches and towns to the north and east. You really need to have a car to do this as nowhere is walkable except a small taverna at the top of the road.

Exceptional find just outside of Astropoli to find a quiet peaceful retreat but still close to the attractions. The staff was fantastic from start to finish. The checkin was easily arranged and I settled in nicely. The best part was for sure the pool with the nice view and calming relaxing vibe. The apartment was as described and very comfortable and relaxing. It was good size and had two balconies with view. Everything about the stay was perfect in every way and I do hope to revisit Kefalonia one day which is large and with so much to see.

The apartment was clean and the bed was super comfy.. nice lil balcony too they left coffee pods, 4 but no milk?

It’s way too far from anything. Don’t bother if you haven’t got a car..the local tavern is very unwelcoming so much so that we don’t stay to eat there and no where else to go so we’ve to bed hungry , we only stayed one night instead of 2 . Very expensive £250 for 2 nights.. especially as we found a beautiful apartment elsewhere for same price but for 5 nights and great location
