The apartment is nicely located just some 3 minutes walk from the Megas Lakkos beach - a nice beach with red sand, shallow waters which are very safe for the kids and without strong waves. The accommodation included breakfast, which was provided at a nearby tavern located just on the beach, 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The tavern itself is a fabulous place to eat at, with its unique vibe, generous host, delicious food and location - one can eat with a great view of the beach and the sea. Many thanks to the apartment owners for this breakfast arrangement. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with good beds, ensuring a good sleep, and a spacious outdoor area with a playground for kids. We enjoyed it with our little one :) Additionally worth saying that the nearest supermarket is just a 6-7 minute drive by car. The supermarket sells whatever one might need, so no problem with food, toiletries, swimming attire, etc. And, by the way, there is every kitchenware at the apartment that the travellers might need if they want to cook themselves. Lastly, the location can serve as a good base to explore the northern parts of Kefalonia due to the reasonable proximity of many attractions in this part of the island. More so, we even managed to visit Ithaka while staying here - it took us a one-hour drive to Sami port to board the ferry, then we explored Ithaka and returned the same day to Kefalonia and back to the apartment. A separate thanks to the owner for being responsive and helpful in all aspects.

There were no particular things that we could say that we did not like. All was good.

Ausser das Bad wo etwas klein war , alles andere war in Ordnung

Ήταν ήσυχη περιοχή ήτανε πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα ξεκούραστο καλοί γείτονες ούτε ενοχλούσαν ούτε μας ενοχλούσαν ήταν απλά ωραία.

Αυτό το διαμέρισμα ήτανε οργανωμένο καλό το μόνο που δε μας άρεσε ήταν ότι δεν είχαμε πλυντήρια σαν οικογένειες να πλύνουμε ρούχα που είχαμε το μόνο κατά τα άλλα ήταν όλα καλά

The location was good a very short walk from the beach. Nice taverna's on the beach( our favourite was Fishbones). Sun loungers available or if that's not your thing then plenty of space. The beach near the apartment is sandy and not to busy. If you wanted more action then you can easily walk( 5 to 10 minutes) to 2 places offering water sports hire. Great for early and late swims as well. Andreas the owner although not always on site was very attentive and always respond promptly to email or telephone calls he really seemed to care that we had a good stay and helped us make the most of our holiday. The Aircon worked really well and there are electric shutters that keep out the heat of the day. There is a really good large fridge, full size cooker and hob and the apartment is well set up for self catering. All in all made for a relaxing, fun, stress free holiday and it felt like home very quickly.

Can't say I disliked anything about the place really. Guess you need to know that a hire car or taxi is needed as supermarket is a long walk away. However that said to get the most out of Cephalonia that would be a must anyway. The supermarket is large and well stocked. The shower room is small but functional. The rest of the apartment is open plan but worked really well for us as a family of 5.
