Villa Ostria

I stayed on the top floor of the villa and had incredible sunrise views looking out to the sea and mountains. The space is generous, with a modern bathroom and every amenity you could need – washer, hair dryer, oven and even dressing gowns. On arrival, Spyros, the owner, was there to welcome me. I can’t thank him and his mum enough for their hospitality throughout my stay. Even treating me to delicious homemade Greek food on a few occasions! Anything you needed, you only had to ask. The villa also has access to a private beach for a dip, and the pool was perfect for cooling off or relaxing by during the day. The AC in the bedroom was great too, which made sleeping comfortable. The villa is about a 25 minute walk from Lixouri. I had a car, but enjoyed walking in for dinner in the evenings. There’s also a regular ferry from Lixouri to Argostoli, which runs hourly and is ideal for day trips. One unexpected highlight was a friendly calico cat (I named Athena) who would often appear on the balcony as company – a lovely extra touch to an already great stay.

Nothing – everything was exactly as expected and I had a really comfortable stay.

Un véritable petit paradis pour notre famille ! La villa est idéalement située à deux pas de la plage et dotée d’une magnifique piscine. Les hôtes sont incroyablement accueillants : à notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé de délicieux plats faits maison, du vin, de l’eau, du jus et des fruits dans le réfrigérateur, ainsi que tout le nécessaire pour commencer notre séjour. L’appartement est très spacieux, propre et parfaitement équipé. La climatisation le rend particulièrement agréable, et absolument tout est prévu pour garantir un séjour confortable en toute autonomie. Un service irréprochable : serviettes pour la douche, la plage et la piscine, peignoirs, ménage quotidien et conseils personnalisés pour découvrir les meilleurs restaurants et plages. Nous avons adoré l’ambiance paisible, un endroit authentique et relaxant, loin de la foule. Grâce à la voiture de location, nous avons pu explorer l’île. La proximité de Lixouri et du bateau pour Argostoli constituait également un atout. Un séjour inoubliable ! Villa Ostria est idéale : proche de la plage, avec un accès direct à la mer à travers l’oliveraie… absolument parfait pour se détendre en famille ou entre amis.

Located 4 min away by car from Lixouri, the apartment is spacious, very sunny and gets a lot of light during the day. We were very nice surprised at arrival with musaka and a rice cake. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, one of the bedroom has a floor AC, the others have standard mounted AC. The sheets are changed daily and the towels are changed each day if you want. Although we didn't use them all, we received towels for bathroom, pool and beach. The bathrooms are very small, but it is nice that there are 2.
