Perfect wee getaway

Immaculate property, with fantastic facilities! Superb shower with spa quality shower gel etc, kitchenette with all you need to cook, plenty plates pots pans and utensils. Hob, toaster, microwave, kettle, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, tv, WiFi. Teas coffee and hot chocolate complete with full size marshmallows, borders biscuits and a bottle of wine and a personalised postcard from the owner! Location is perfect for some peace and tranquility and close by to Neist Point! Well worth the climb!

Quiet, Comfortable, A nice place to stay.

Quiet and comfortable, nice place to stay to relax and enjoy being away. Easy to enjoy the peace and quiet and with good wifi/internet you can relax with a movie being able to stream easily.

The place felt a little cramped with an attempt to have too many services in a small space, would make staying for more than 1-2 days a little awkward in terms of being set up. The panel heater by default was set for only frost protection, 7C, which when arriving during strong winds and rain meant the place was a little cold and took a while to warm up.

I cant recommend this stay enough, the amount of information given pre arrival was fantastic. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The attention to detail inside the cabin made it an amazingly comfortable and snuggly retreat. Will deffinatly be back.

This property was everything we could ask for in a cabin. It was warm and cosy (in November whilst snowing) and the bed was so comfortable. The views were stunning. I would absolutely visit again.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was incredibly well equipped, clean and comfortable. The host was very accessible and always answered promptly. The host provided many little extras to make our stay memorable. ( wine, chocolates, robes , slippers and hot water bottles) We didn’t need the hot water bottles as the heat was more than sufficient. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would like to come back on the summer for a longer stay.

The room is cleaned and well equipped with all the cooking appliances. And we get to see Aurora during the night by chance. Host was very nice and sweet and check in with us frequently and also informed us of the Aurora sighting

Peaceful rural accommodation in beautiful location on Duirinish Peninsula.

The quiet rural location was what we were looking for. The room was warm and comfortable. The bed was good as was the shower. The bottle of wine was greatly appreciated.

Faultless. The BEST Nights sleep in years

We loved everything about this place. We honestly both had the best nights sleep in years. We had everything we needed. It was a little paradise for us. The peace and quiet and dark skies were exactly what we needed. Highly recommend. The owner was also great at providing information. Love it!

Peaceful location with a great view, well equipped, clean, everything we needed including essentials like tea, coffee, milk as we were on a motorbike so no space to bring provisions with us. Great having a washing machine to refresh our limited wardrobe with nice touches such as a sleeping kit and dressing gowns, loved it all and would recommend.

A stunning location very close to Neist Point. An excellent and secluded place for couples.

The bed was wonderfully warm and cosy. The location is exceptional and secluded. The bottle of wine on arrival was a nice welcome.

The shower was a problem as we could not reduce the heat of the water. It was dangerously hot and could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature.

Unable to get in! This may not be down to the host, this could be an error with the booking site. I can’t explain how rural this place is. It genuinely is in the middle of nowhere! If you’re on a motorbike with limited carrying capacity, you’ll be struggling. A load of bread/eggs/milk would have gone a long way.

Excellent apartment to arrive at after a day of driving. Relax and enjoy.

Brilliant unit with all required amenities. Host even left us a message and a bottle of wine. The other apartments have better views, but ours was still lovely looking out in the evening over the valley and inlet.

What a treat! Lovely wee place to chill out

We loved the self check in so we didn’t have to worry about time. The location was so cool, lovely and quiet, very scenic. Had great facilities, lovely little place to chill out. We loved the extra bits and bobs too like the wine, sleeping kit, hot water bottle, lovely soaps and hand cream, robe and slippers, tea etc. Seemed really well thought-out, obviously a lot of thought and care is taken here to please the guests :)

Amazing place, perfect for a few nights while visiting the Isle of Sky

We were in Aurora 3 (stand alone cottage) - the view was amazing - even tho its a small cabin it was well equiped (washing machine, detergent, toilettries, basic kitchen supply eg. cooking oil, salt, frying pan etc.) - Heidi was really helpful - The heating worked nicely, it only took 20-30 minutes to heat up the whole place - Extra credit for the towel dryer!
