About this house rental
This home is a 3-bedroom house with 3.5 bathrooms. You'll find 4 kayaks that you are welcome to use to tour the sound. Enjoy fishing and crabbing right off the dock and plenty of room to dock your boat. (However, the boat ramp is inoperable. You will need to launch your boat at one of the nearby public accesses.)
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.
Master – king
Bedroom 2 – queen bed and full over full bunk bed
Bedroom 3 – queen over queen bunk bed
(There is also a twin in the downstairs entryway.)
Bathrooms
Half bath on ground level (toilet and sink)
Two full baths on main level/2nd floor (one with a shower and one with a tub)
Jack and Jill bath on 3rd floor (each bedroom has a toilet/sink area with a shower and tub between)

Boat Ramp
There is a boat ramp on the property. Unfortunately, it is inoperable and the driveway is too narrow to accommodate a trailer. If you are bringing your boat, you will need to use the public boat access, which is approximately 2 miles away.

There is a security camera on the property that monitors the driveway and boat ramp.
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.

Loved our stay! Very pleased, the property far exceeded my expectations and for a great price, the pictures dont do it justice. I expected something simple and plain but what we got was bright and cheery with beach vibes and lot's of extras: kayaks, bikes, life jackets, beach chairs, kick boards for the kids and great views with lots of extra outdoor seating. We really enjoyed the decks, screen room and comfy seating, it's at the end of a culdesac with minimal commotion. There are lots of islands and marshlands to explore on the kayaks. Fish off the docks, bike to the beach or if you're up to it a somewhat long walk would get you there too. Close to shops beaches grocery stores and restaurants.Upon checking in we found the kitchen fridge was dead. The host was quick to make it worth our trouble as well as sending a repairman to fix it followed by a replacement fridge by the end of the week, thankfully there was a garage fridge as well as an upstairs minifridge we moved to the kitchen until the new one arrived.

We came for the weekend to visit my son who had rented another home further south on the mainland. My husband found this property and loved it due to the game room, kayaks, bikes, and sound views. It is at the end of a cul de sac and very peaceful. The views are stunning!! Just gorgeous. The home is decorated nicely and has everything you could imagine that you would need. The owner does ask that you bring your own towels. They do have a few there but I brought our own as requested. You will need your own beach items. We had a very nice stay and look forward to going back again!

Location was awesome. Back decks over back the water. Ocean side maybe 3 blocks across the way. Restaurants, ice cream, shops, seafood market, Surf City pier, etc all near by. 4 bikes, 5 kayaks for your use. Jetted tubs. Yes ,tubs with an s. All photos are accurate. Cleaning fees are a little excessive in my opinion but it is a large house. We ckean as we go so.......Other than fees being more than the rent, it was top notch! We loved it!
