About this house rental
Welcome to The Perfect Spot –Whether you’re trying to fish for (actual) spot, or just catching some beach time or relaxation, our home on beautiful Topsail Island is the perfect spot for you.
The property and private dock offer sweeping views of Stump Sound, with deep-water access to the Intracoastal Waterway, perfect for your fishing or recreational boat, kayak, or paddleboard. We’re also just minutes from the beach, with plenty of nearby public access points.
This 4-bedroom, 3-full-bathroom home sleeps up to 10 people.
Three bedrooms feature king beds, while the bunk room offers 4 twin bunks perfect for the little ones. (Note: The bunk room is connected to one of the bedrooms. Both the bedroom and bunk room have doors for privacy, but to reach the bedroom from inside the house, you must pass through the bunk room—or you can access the bedroom directly via an exterior door.)
All rooms are on one level, making it easy to navigate for guests with mobility needs.
You'll love the large screened-in porch, where you can take in the stunning marsh views, relax on the porch swing, or enjoy some fresh seafood at the outdoor dining table while watching the sunset over the waterway.
The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing meals*, and we’ve provided all the essentials: sheets and towels, and a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dish detergent, and laundry detergent. Hand soap, bath soap, and shampoo and conditioner are also provided in each bathroom.
*A shared spice and condiment cabinet with the essentials, along with plastic wrap, tin foil, etc. is maintained on the honor system. Feel free to use what you need, and if you finish something or have extras, you’re welcome to replace or leave them for the next guests to enjoy.
Extras include:
•Dock access (no boat ramp, but a public ramp is just 10 minutes away)
•Three kayaks available for guest use
•Large swim mat for fun on the water
•A 15-amp outlet to charge a golf cart (rentals are available on the island)
•Dog-friendly- Maximum of 2 dogs, each 50 lbs or under. Must be house-trained. No fenced backyard, so must be supervised at all times. Pet fee: $25 per dog, per night. This is a non-refundable fee, not a deposit. Guests are responsible for any additional cleaning or damage caused by pets, regardless of the pet fee. Please follow all house rules for pets, including keeping dogs off furniture and cleaning up after them.

This place was fantastic for our family! We got lucky with beautiful weather and the house was exceptionally clean. In a great area for food and other activities. We will definitely be back!
