This apartment was perfect for our family of two parents, grandmother, and two kids 12 and 7. We loved the proximity to the beach and view of courtyard and dunes off of the ground floor veranda. The dunes are a wild life preservation space; as you walk down the board walk to beach you might spot sea turtles sunning themselves. The living room recliners were quite relaxing. Kitchen was adequately supplied—appliances and electronics in good order. Nice to heave beach chairs and a few sand toys. It was too cold to swim, but pool looked lovely. We easily popped into Old Town St. Augustine every night to see holiday lights and walk about. Publix in St. Augustine Beach had all we needed. Next time we want to find a good place near by to rent beach cruisers. The sand on beach is quite compacted and depending on tides great for bike riding. Ability to drive car on beach was also interesting.
