Charming Lodge

Charming, rustic lodge in a beautiful setting. We booked last-minute and weren't sure what to expect. But the beds were comfortable, room was spotless, and dinner was FANTASTIC. We feel very lucky to have found it!

Poor

In the description we were told there was a private bathroom. However, there was no toilet in the room, but only a public toilet at the end of a long hall used by many guests. The room had only a shower and sink, neither of which had any privacy. This did not meet the english description of a "private bathroom."

We felt a bit mislead about the toilet facilities being shared and in the corridor. The advert said “private bathroom” which you would expect to include toilet.

Stunning Alpine chocolate box Chalet straight out of Heidi......

The prettiest of settings, alpine cows with bells in the distance, the cleanest of air and the property was chocolate box Alps. Whilst not cheap, it was one of the most stunning places to stay. We had a typical dinner made with local ingredients and breakfast the next morning was also very good with local yoghurt and honey, fresh croissants and pastries, ham, eggs, French bread and coffee/tea. Its a chalet so bunk beds rule and no ensuite toilet though we had a sink and shower in our 6 bed family room but when in Rome.... highly reccomended.

missleading names

the surrounding

misleading description when booking...of private bath...you would expect it to be within the room...nope...it is not the misleading names on the menu!!! we were not the only one to miss understand it!! be very careful when ordering food!!! if you choose the course menu , check exactly the description available ONLY in the individual menu!!! ex. Perdrix...if you expect to get meat of the bird partridge...wrong...you get potato gratin!!! which can have a massive impact on your mood, when you see the food!

Très bel endroit en pleine nature à découvrir qui nous donne envie de revenir

Réservation de dernière minute et très belle surprise. Cadre superbe dans la nature. Nous avons eu la dernière chambre dont la taille ne permet pas la présence de salle de bain. Mais ceci n'a pas été un problème puisqu'elle était sur le palier et privative. A noter des toilettes sur le palier mais ceci ne nous a pas gêné. L'accueil a été chaleureux, les propriétaires au petit soin, le repas succulent et le petit déjeuner gargantuesque. Nombreuses balades aux alentours possibles.

Posto immerso nella natura veramente bello , suggestivo e rilassante. Buono il prezzo del pernottamento. Letti molto comodi.

Purtroppo nella prenotazione, c'era scritto bagno privato invece ho trovato lavandino e doccia in camera ma per la toilette bisognava uscire dalla stanza ed era in comune con le altre camere.Io viaggiavo con persone anziane e questo è stato un problema.

Emplacement très agréable au calme en pleine nature avec le son des clarines Établissement propre.

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré exemple confiture maison Les prix pratiqués par cet établissement sont trop élevés par rapport à la prestation qui est minimaliste. On trouve souvent plus de confort en chambre d’hôte. Nous avons mangé un soir repas correct.

auberge agréable et accueillante ,magnifiquement située en pleine nature

Auberge ,et non hôtel , pour randonneurs et sportifs ( wc sur le palier,douche parfois en dehors de la chambre); les chambres sont simples mais aménagées avec goût et la literie excellente! Le restaurant,pas donné en effet mais il faut tenir compte de l emplacement,propose des plats rustiques; ne pas s inquiéter de quelques commentaires malveillants :c’est bon et copieux et le service est très aimable !

L éclairage du couloir : trop peu d interrupteurs et minuterie trop courte

Cadre idyllique pour se reposer en pleine nature jurassienne.

Cadre bucolique avec les veaux autour de l'auberge qui broutaient tout en faisant teinter leurs cloches. Rénovation de l'auberge avec des menuiseries récentes, la salle de bains séparée est également très agréable. Le personnel attentionné même si quelque peu débordé mais tout se fait ds la bonne humeur.

Une bonne nuit, de bons repas, un bon souvenir d’étapes de la Grande Traversée du Jura

Une belle restauration hôtelière d’un site et d’un lieu traditionnels jurassiens. Un accueil chaleureux d’un couple de randonneurs « téméraires » eu égard aux conditions météo et pouvant bénéficier aussi d’une occupation exclusive de l’auberge. Cuisine locale soignée et buffet pour le petit déjeuner avec yaourts maisons et bon miel.
