The quality of the internet was very poor.

Easy access and good parking

nothing at all. It was awful from start to finish.

I asked for a quiet room. What I got was a room with what sounded like a door banging going on all night. Every two to three minutes it was a triple bang, like a door being opened and then bouncing shut. I don't know what was causing the noise. I had no sleep whatsoever. On top of that, I was on an extremely busy road with air conditioning units outside the window. The location was appalling, basically well out of town and in the middle of an industrial estate. The whole hotel smelt of smoke and my room smelt so smoky that it made me feel sick all night. The air conditioning didn't work. You couldn't function it yourself, You had to go down to reception for them to adjust it. Floor did not look clean, The bed was not comfortable, The pillows were awful. We paid for dinner ( we arrived on a Sunday) but were sent an e-mail saying that dinner was only served on a Monday to Saturday. We paid for breakfast but when I went down to breakfast, flies were crawling on absolutely everything. It was totally disgusting and I didn't eat anything. I complained to the staff but I was told they could not deal with my complaint as we had booked through booking.com. I spoke to booking.com who were very helpful, whilst I was in the hotel. They told me they spoke to senior management who refused to accept any of my complaints. I am not sure how because they could have walked out to the breakfast area at that moment and seen the whole thing crawling in flies. This was honestly the worst hotel stay I have ever endured in the whole of my travelling experience. The hotel agreed to refund our dinner costs, having initially denied that the e-mail was sent and having said to us that food was available on a Sunday when we had previously been told it was not and so we had stopped to eat on the way. The staff were not overly helpful. I could not change rooms because apparently the hotel was full. Shocking experience.

Qualified stuff in the morning, in the afternoon not so much. Poor breakfast. Cigarette smell in the room. High price considering compared to standard. Just outside my room parking-I could see people walking, probably they saw me too...

Outside noise from what looked like some big air conditioning units below our window, and a dog that yapped all evening.

Recently redecorated room. Comfortable bed. Tv with chromecast.

Location was great for our overnight stay, staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a evening meal which was ok.

The steak was very tough and uneatable, we told the staff and didn't pay for the one which uneatable.
