The property was in a fabulous location close to the beach and in easy reach of many places to visit. It was clean, well equipped and suited us as a family with two children perfectly. It was an added bonus that the property owner supports the charity, Ronald McDonald House, as our son was in hospital for a long time and we were able to stay in such accommodation for a period, meaning we could be together. This made the house very special to us!

We had a wonderful stay here in October. Everything was super clean and we didn't miss a thing at the house. It was very comfortable there. The owner was very friendly and the communication fast and uncomplicated. We are very much looking forward to come again. Best wishes, Anja

We had a very enjoyable stay in this comfortable, well equipped house. Beds very comfortable, furnishings of a high standard. From here we were able to travel easily to various different towns and tourist attractions.

Property was just right. Beds very comfortable and house location superb for beach and beach bars and restaurants. Hardly drove at all. Loved Den Haag and Delft and our 3 teenage children loved the local beaches.

This modern centrally heated house is well fitted out with very comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen has a combi microwave/oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a good supply of crockery and equipment. The large open plan lounge area has a smart TV and an open fire for which logs can be pre-ordered from the owner and bought from the on-site shop. The two upstairs large bedrooms share a bathroom with wc and the downstairs spacious bedroom has its own bathroom with shower but the toilet is separately situated off the entrance hall. There is a large storeroom with garden furniture, washing machine and drying rack. There is a sauna which we didn't use. The site has several children's play areas, a large indoor pool, restaurant and a good supermarket. The house is 5-10 minutes walk from the sandy beach which has a café on the sand. Cycle paths run north and south beside the dunes. This is an ideal location for a seaside holiday and for visiting Den Haag, Delft, Gouda and the Keukenhof gardens, which are well worth a visit at this time of year! I would certainly recommend this property for a family holiday.

My two sisters and I stayed at Karin's duinhuis during a recent visit to the Netherlands for a family visit. We had stayed in Kijkduin park before so were familiar with it's amenities and convenient location. We were drawn to Karin's home because it had been recently renovated and were not disappointed. It has a fresh clean look. And Karin is an excellent owner--very responsive both by e-mail and by text. The listing description is accurate and everything was as we had expected. It's location offers convenient access to shopping, restaurants and for travel to other parts of the Netherlands. Favourite nearby restaurants include the Fish Club and Ketje's in Kijkduin, both near the NH Hotel and the beach. We would certainly recommend to others and will hopefully return.

The property was decorated in a modern style and was very clean on arrival. The location on the holiday park was excellent, mid way between the path to the beach and the on-site supermarket/cafe and recreational facilities. The place itself is a bit like CenterParcs, in that you can't drive your car up to the cottage except for loading/unloading on arrival/departure - this was great for the children who could roam around safely outside. The kids enjoyed the free swimming, badminton and tennis. The pool is a regular size but was quiet (we went during our half term end of May/beginning of June). Tennis/badminton courts were meant to be booked but we were just able to turn up and play. There is an onsite restaurant and cafe (you can get takeaway pizzas) - we didn't use them though. The supermarket is good for a variety of fresh food, bread, pastries, cakes, groceries, alcohol, small toys etc - you can easily survive using this, no need to go and find a large supermarket elsewhere. The beach is sandy and large. There are a couple of beach hut style restaurants at the end of the path down from the holiday home to the beach - lovely to sit here and eat or have a morning coffee. A cycle ride/walk up the coastal path takes you to a small resort area that has about 10 different restaurants serving a wide variety of different world cuisine - so there are plenty of places to eat out. You can also drive here (2 mins in a car) and park for free too. The Hague is a nice city, the old centre near the Binnenhof has nice shops and places to sit outside and have a coffee/food. Bigger more modern high street shops are near here too. Delft is definitely worth a visit (old streets, canals - much smaller than The Hague), park in one of the underground city centre car parks - they are very reasonable. Amsterdam is an hour by car but is very very busy and car parking in the centre is very expensive. The cycle paths are wide and numerous, if you can take your bike then it is well worth doing this. You can however rent bikes there. Overall, we had a great time, the house is clean and comfortable (the sauna was a nice addition), there is plenty to do and plenty to eat! Mark
