Offered what we needed - a bed for the night and breakfast!

The Ibis was as we expected - a simply furnished room with bathroom, good for an overnight stay near where we needed to be the next day. The beds were comfortable. Given its location near a busy road it was surprisingly quiet with the window closed. There was air-conditioning. The breakfast was good.

The breakfast offer is good and fresh - but the dining room at the hotel is not a nice space to spend any time in.

Good value for money, nice staff but a few improvements to be made!

Convenient location, accommodated our bikes in a secure location inside the hotel as they were too big to take to our room. Staff were helpful and nice.

The room was warm, the air conditioner didn’t really feel like it worked. Thankfully we could open the window but the security latch was broken which was helpful for us controlling the temperature but worrying because we were on the 5th floor. Not the properties fault but there is a lot of construction work in the area at the time of our stay and likely to be for a while.

Decent stay for a few nights

Pretty decent room. I was traveling alone and it was good for me for two nights. There is a bus stop next to the property.

Breakfast could be slightly better. Pain au chololat were a little burnt.

Hotel near the university

The staff was really kind. As they had to close the hotel because of the protests, they organized my move to another hotel and paid for it. It could have been a stressful situation but they handled it with efficiency and courtesy.

Good value for money

The hotel is located at 15 min away from the city center of Lyon. There is a free car park which is 9 euros/day. The room is not spacious but there is everything you need for a night - a small bathroom, a little WC and a sink.
