Brilliant spacious room with all that you need located in an excellent place.

The room was spacious and the location was very convenient.

It was a bit cold and the heating didn't seem to have much effect. Also it is difficult to get luggage up the stairs especially if you are carrying a lot.

It was quiet, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was great for everywhere I wanted to go as well.

Only issue I had was the tub/shower is a climb to get in and out of. A safety bar would be helpful especially when getting out. The tub is slippery when wet and it was tricky to get out and not harm myself.

Great short break venue

Lovely clean and tidy apartment. Great facilities, bed comfy. Loved the little touches on arrival - loo roll etc. The on-line guide is amazing and helpful for places to visit and eat if you haven't done your own research. Prompt contact with any queries/questions. Highly recommended ❤️

Nice apartment not far from Stirling

The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything we needed

It was a little difficult to get into the apartment. We had to call the agency. They resolved the issue quickly. To note: The apartment is not in Stirling itself. The town is very nice, though, with a local shop, takeawy etc

Lovely apartment in a very pretty village. Beautifully maintained and equipped. Perfect for a stay for a couple. Great to have simple things like condiments and tea and coffee provided. The soap and shower gel is lovely stuff. Spotlessly clean. Thank you we will hopefully be back. Recommend Buttecup cafe for breakfast.

Possibly tell people about the entrance door downstairs as it isn’t obvious. Front door is a bit tricky but just needs a little tweak I think. Communal entrance and stairwell could do with a bit of TLC.

The flat was excellent and, for us, perfectly located.

The flat has all the modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and obviously well maintained. It is excellently located for visiting the centre of Doune.

As we were staying in the flat in order to visit family who live nearby, we would have liked to show them the flat for future reference, as other family members would be interested, but the house rules prevented that.

It was adequate for what we needed.

The bathroom was absolutely tiny and the damp smell was horrible albeit it was spotlessly clean.

Excellent flat up three flights of stairs.

The location was good for us. We were on our way from the south of England to Aberdeen. We didn't want to stay in Aberdeen. Close to Stirling was ideal.

Super clean, bright and airy spacious apartment with good sized kitchen/diner and separate sitting room. Bed comfortable, slept well. Check in video and apartment guide great idea. Good location for us as we were visiting family, lovely walks around Doune and up to Argaty. Quiet and peaceful place to stay.

Strong smell of damp in bathroom, although bathroom itself was very clean with no visible signs of mould.

Nice apartment in cute little village of Doune

Nice location, spacious, great kitchen, good value

Only thing that was an annoyance was the fan and light coming on automatically when you entered the bathroom (motion detector). If you had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, the loud fan stayed on for maybe 10 minutes. A simple switch like the rest of the lights in the house would have been preferable.

without any hesitation, I'd stay at Trossachs Apartment again!

We stayed at Trossachs Apartment for ten nights towards the end of June 2022. We think that the owners have created a very comfortable and well-appointed self-catering apartment, In particular, the large kitchen was a big plus for us - because our purpose of our stay there was to slow down and rest before we flew back to Australia. And this apartment met that need perfectly! In our experience, we have stayed in a number of apartments where the kitchens were too small - even for people who are only using the apartment as somewhere to come to at the end of each day. The apartment, during the day. is light-filled which was another plus for us. We also need to mention the cafe, called "The Buttercup" which is in Main Street, Doune. Every day we went there for great coffee, great service and fantastic scones! Several times, we went there a second time for lunch. Yes, we rate Trossachs Apartment as one of the best places that we have hired, Now, I feel that I should mention one other point, Which is that the entrance to the building (not the apartment itself - that is terrific) needs a coat of paint. BUT, ONCE YOU GET INSIDE THIS APARTMENT, THE CONDITION OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE BUILDING IS QUICKLY FORGOTTEN! Yes, we think that Trossachs apartment was an excellent choice of accommodation!

Cosy, comfy, spacious and well-placed - in short pretty much perfect!

The setting is fantastic, perfectly central to plan a tour of Scotland! A big kitchen and plenty of living space means you feel at home, rather than a hotel/hostel. Keys were easy to locate, communication with the hosts was excellent, very clear and helpful.

One tiny criticism - a guide on how to turn on the radiators would come in handy; we worked out eventually that it's the button on the plug, after a lot of head scratching - but perhaps we're a one-off. Considering that's the only downside we can think of, you know this is a great place to stay!
