Close to the 42 bus stop with frequent buses into town and the airport.. The apartment block is situated on top of a supermarket soit was easy to buy our provisions.
Cleaning could have been better: there were some red spots and black hairs on the bathroom floor when we arrived. There were no cleaning products for us to use. There was only one saucepan and one frying pan provided, even though the hob has four rings. There was no bathmat, even though the bathroom floor tiles get slippy when wet. There was no tea towel or oven gloves in the kitchen and no toilettries in the bathroom.

The apartment was very clean and in an amazing location, with a bus stop just a few steps away and a grocery shop right outside, which was extremely convenient. Even when it was –11°C outside, the room stayed very warm, and I didn’t need my woolen PJs at all. Buses to the city center took around 10–20 minutes, making it easy to get around. We were also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights while waiting for the bus—such a special experience! The property was very well equipped. They provided laundry pods, dishwasher tablets, coffee, plenty of cutlery and dishes, towels, and lots of storage space. There is also a paid luggage storage room, which was helpful. However, it’s basically one large room without individual lockers, so we were a little unsure at first about where to place our luggage and how secure it was. When we visited, everything was covered in snow, and the views from the big windows were absolutely beautiful.
There was no toilet paper, sugar, salt, or other basic condiments provided, and no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Since there was a grocery shop right outside, we were able to buy everything easily, but it would have been nice if some essentials were included. We were asked to dispose of the waste in the house rules, and while we didn’t mind, it’s worth mentioning that guests are required to take the garbage outside the building during checkout.

The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable (but small). There was a kitchen that worked fine. The bathroom has floor heating which is nice as well. The shower was also good. There is no lobby but when you call the company they respond quickly and do help you. I absolutely hated the location, but we were close to the airport by car which was nice when we were leaving.
The location was very bad. It’s right in an industrial zone above a grocery store which takes away all the charm of Tromsø. On top of that the curtains are not cut to the right length and let through a lot of light and is difficult to properly close. The view is a grocery store parking lot, some logistics companies and a bus parking lot. It’s fully illuminated day and night with very bright lights and there is sound 24/7. There is no lobby so if you have a problem it’s kind of awkward because you’re not sure wether to call them or not (which obviously also costs money as a foreigner). In my case we were left in the bathroom with only half a roll of toilet paper. There is also no daily cleaning from what I’ve seen so everything is up to yourself. I understand Norway has a strong economy and I understand Tromso is an expensive city, but for over €100/night I find it still very bad value for money. At that price point I have found much better accomodations on Airbnb.
