The wine afternoon and afternoon tea was a lovely welcome gift and much appreciated after a 5 hour journey. We loved the location and having a parking spot was perfect.
The double bed felt small and was very uncomfortable. Some of the furniture needed some attention and the drawers needed a good clear out as there was leaflets there dating 5 years ago (I did start this task!). Would be good if there was a coffee machine and I ended up buying some wine glasses.

No dislikes but beds and rooms were not ideal as we had Mum/Dad and baby in one room and grandparents in another….so grandparents had single beds and baby had travelcot in the double room whilst her Mum and Dad slept on the sofabed…..as they found baby didn’t sleep so well when in the same room. Just logistics and sleeping but we worked it out. Using the lounge for sleeping means no-one can stay up late to watch TV, and the TV could be bigger. Could not find a dustbin so carried our rubbish bags down to the Town bins, and paid for our second car in long stay carpark but think it was not necessary to pay at this time of year?

Walking distance to town, car parking space, beautiful views from the front window
There were no fans provided so the rooms were stiflingly hot at night. It was a very uncomfortable sleeping situation. The double bed was hard. There was 1 towel provided per person for a 5 night stay, more would have been good. There was also very little toilet paper. The property is at the top of a steep hill so it won’t be suitable for older people or those with mobility issues.
