Ok, but small improvements could make a big difference

Location good, had a nice sized bedroom with an en-suite. Plenty of electric sockets.

Getting bikes to the secure storage isn’t easy as you have to take them through a narrow tunnel full of cardboard and other rubbish. Check in not easy, had to ring them to get our room number so as not to take the wrong key. In the room, no WiFi password, shower gel or milk. No beside table (on my side!)

Beautiful room and en-suite in perfect location for our weekend.

The property could have been cleaner - there appeared to have been an issue with some sort of bee and we kept coming across carcasses - and the storage for bicycles was poor.

Great place to stay

I stayed here for 2 nights on a work trip. The location is great and access was easy. It's a very well equipped place that was clean, comfortable and quiet. I had the place to myself which was a bonus so I had free reign over the kitchen and dining facilities. It would be a great place to stay if you're in a large group and need a few rooms.

Useful room in quiet house

A house with individual rooms and shared use of kitchen and living space. In a quiet back street of Whitehaven, not beautiful but not unpleasant. Room was a good size with a hard but comfortable bed. Shared bathroom facilities with next door room. Could hear other guests but everyone was quiet so not a problem. Bathroom clean, bedroom needed a hoover. Property manager answered my call right away with room info and key system worked well.

Beautifully refurbished property close to the Waterfront

Loved everything except the dirty fireplace and when I looked under the bed to find something, it looked like it had not been cleaned for ages. Friday night was probably not the best night to stay as I was woken up by drunken revellers screaming in the street.

NEVER EVER Rent This Property as it’s not safe to live in there and no help you will get from anyone.

The property was on its own and nobody was there to receive you, they will just give you a pin for the door and you will have to find your way by yourself and you will have to share the apartment facilities with other people which was not clearly mentioned while booking.

My experience with this property was horrible and didn’t feel SAFE and haven’t felt any PRIVACY while living there. I have booked this apartment for 2 days business trip. While booking the apartment they mislead me by saying that there will be a separate bathroom and separate key will be provided and for that I have purchased their most expensive room. While I have noticed twice that other people from other rooms were also using this bathroom and on the top of that there was no internal lock in the bathroom so anyone can enter by using the key. While booking they have also mentioned that it will be the biggest room with private heater etc. Which was not the case. I think they have given me whatever was available just to fulfill the order. After having the above experience I contacted helpline of booking.com and asked their help they took one month and their response was useless by saying that, just leave a review on the site thats all. I would request everyone who is renting this property to not to use this even if you don’t have any option. I would never use booking.com either and deleting their app as their service is pointless as I haven’t received any help from them in this regard. They said they will wait for 5 days, if hotel won’t reply they will cease their service but nothing happened the hotel is still live on booking.com site.

Cozy accomodation in Whitehaven

The living room of the accommodation was a warm and welcoming space. It was tastefully decorated, with comfortable seating and a charming ambiance that made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Our room was both comfortable and quiet, providing us with a peaceful haven for a restful night.

One of the issues we encountered was the shortage of coffee spoons and cups. It would probably be helpful for future guests to review the basic essentials in the kitchen.

A beautiful place but not really for me.

The house was beautifully and tastefully decorated, and a lot of thought had gone into what guests might like. It was spotlessly clean. I loved the pictures around the place, of old Whitehaven.

I booked this place because there was nowhere else available in Whitehaven that night. This is just a personal thing, but I prefer a place where I'll be greeted by the host. I hate keypads, and notices all over the place, and not knowing who else is in the building. I like the personal touch. This place felt like more of a hostel, albeit a beautiful hostel. I'm sure it's great for groups but I'm more of a B+B lady.

Perfect location and property

Loved everything about this location very clean house cozy rooms and it literally came with everything you could need. Loved how the towels smelt very fresh and you tell the property had been cleaned

It was very warm cause the heating was left on downstairs and we couldn’t turn it off and I expected the place to come with hand wash and shampoo like other places I have stayed at that’s the only fault I can find otherwise would definitely stay here again in the future
