Fantastic quiet relaxing stay

Very quiet location, had everything we needed in the cabin. Great welcome book in cabin with loads of very useful information. Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Bootle was a lot quieter than we expected. No pub, cafe closes at 3.30pm and shop closes at 5.30pm

A lovely relaxing stay.

Lovely cabin in a picturesque and peaceful location. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Shower was good and WiFi reliable. Booking process was simple and Sarah the host very responsive and helpful. Bowl of treats and milk in the fridge upon our arrival was much appreciated.

Stunning views, very well presented and peaceful. The owner Sarah, her mother, husband and brother Joe were fantastic. Available virtually 24/7. It even has an outside bbq, air fryer. The lady who keeps the chalets spotlessly clean was friendly too.

Quiet, relaxing, great views, and a perfect base to explore the area

The cabin was quiet, clean, everything was in excellent 'as new' condition, and it was very warm and cosy despite the English weather letting us down. The host had left fruit, chocolate and snacks for us, and there was milk in the fridge ready for a warming cuppa. The view out the windows was stunning. The shower was also surprisingly good for a little cabin. The instructions from the host before we arrived made getting there and getting in very easy.

I am very pleased with the whole stay and the price was very affordable!

the location was beautiful, the cabin matched. we was greeted by sheep which is great for animal lovers. very quiet area too so it was perfect to have some peace and quiet from home.

the only downside was it was very windy however did not mind this at all considering everything else was exceptional

Lovely cabin, a step up from Glamping for sure. Quiet location and even saw the stars one night and thunderstorms the next roll down the mountain. Very relaxing and had a super nights sleep with superb hosts!

Nothing, however it is in a quiet location with no bars/restaurants in walking distance. Only mention as there is a bit of driving if that’s what you are looking for - we personally loved being away from it all.

Exceptional

Everything!! We moved here in a hurry, after finding that our original accommodation wasn't suitable (long story!) and managed to find The Cabin available. We were tired and nervous after a very long journey and with a bad experience behind us, but we found that The Cabin was PERFECT! With a cosy bed, a huge telly, a kitchen and a lounge area, there was everything we could possibly need I a small space. Sarah and Christine had thoughtfully put out some milk, fruit and chocolates. Everything was pristine and we loved it. Despite being away from the area we had planned to be in, we found plenty to do. We highly recommend an evening in Seacape, the small ferry to Piel Castle, a day in Whitehaven and the Six Lakes coach tour we booked through Booking.com. The accommodation was perfect, in a small village with a local shop. The train station was around 30 mins walk away where we took a train to Whitehaven (to have a car-free day) and it's a lovely journey. And the best thing, at night.... the silence! The Cabin will be our first port of call next time we return to the Lake District.

Exceptional

Amazing, cosy stay with beautiful view and lots of things to do! This little cabin is the perfect get away for anyone who loves nature! Myself and my partner stayed for two nights and we had nothing short of an amazing time, both Sarah and her mother were so friendly and welcoming and answered our many questions throughout the stay! There was also extra pillows, towels, bedding and fresh fruit and little treats in the fruit bowl which was so kind and thoughtful! If you’re worried about there not being much to do please don’t we found so many things to do and Sarah also provides leaflets within the cabin of multiple things to do and see! We were also able to swim in a little gorge with deep pools and a cute little waterfall only 5 minutes down the road! We also went into Windermere where we explored the world of Beatrix potter in addition to swimming and paddle boarding in a gorgeous lake with the most amazing view. We would definitely recommend booking with Sarah for an amazing stay and with so many things to do and see with the gorgeous scenery it’s nothing short of a perfect little getaway!
