Peaceful, lovely scenery, very clean and everything you need is provided (other than personal toiletries as expected.). Quick replies to queries and very accommodating. Would recommend and will be rebooking!
As a fairly new driver the steep private road/driveway would have scared me but my husband drove so wasn't an issue.

Property well equipped and clean and located in picturesque quiet surroundings. Safe and secure for dogs. We came to relax and didn't explore much apart from taking our dog to local beaches about 10 mins away
Lovely gift of a box of biscuits and a Card were left on arrival.
It is very dark at night (late December)with no outside lighting so I recommend taking a torch if you need to take your dog out.
Stairs to upstairs bedrooms are a little slippy so wouldn't suit less mobile people.
We didn't get to see our host as apparently they were away.
It would have been nice to have some welcome information and maybe an emergency contact number in case we needed any help. Heating was on a timer which you couldn't alter.

An amazing cottage, clean and everything you need to start your holiday, all there. Very quiet location and very friendly hosts. Their dog was also greeting us every time we returned from hiking trips. No regrets staying there at all. There's also a local pub just a minute drive down the main road with very friendly staff. Closest convenience store such as Tesco is 20min drive away from the property.

Cosy, great price (other one we looked at locally was almost twice the price), all you'd hope for...
Not so much a "didn't like" but guests should be aware that the twin bedroom leads off the double bedroom - ie those sleeping in the twin have to go through the double to get downstairs, where the loo is...

The cottage is really well-placed for getting to the western valleys of the Lake District (30 minutes drive to Wasdale Head). Set well away from the main road it is in a peaceful farm setting and is a cosy retreat after a long day on the Fells with all you need for basic home-cooking in the evening and nearby pubs and restaurants if you prefer to eat out. Lovely friendly contact and welcome from our host, Stephen. And Roy, the dog, is a wonderful companion for your stay.
Nothing to dislike about the cottage. The listing says there are two bedrooms but if you are thinking of booking you should be aware that one bedroom is on an open landing at the top of the stairs and access to the second bedroom is by walking through the first bedroom. This wasn't a problem for us but could be depending on the composition/relationships/preferences of your party.

Pretty planters outside make it very inviting.
Welcoming owners who were not intrusive.
Friendly dogs.

Stunning views from the farm entry.

Hooks as you enter cottage to put wet coats etc if you've been caught out or up a fell! With space to take off muddy walking boots on a tiled floor.
USB and C point charger points incorporated into the bedside lamps.
Bins in bedrooms, sitting area and bathroom.
Visible farm animals that were pleasantly quiet and could not be heard in the cottage (unless you had windows open!)
Brilliant location for coast and travel further in land over the tops.
Great pub down the road with friendly staff and yummy food. (The Brown Cow)
Nothing for us.
Creaky floor, but it's an old cottage and if you don't expect something like that, then book a hotel!

We loved our stay in this great location. Quiet, on a farm, with the host's dog for our dog to play with. Very cosy little cottage with a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering.

Excellent rural/peaceful location away good for walks.
Could be cleaner- lots of dust/cobwebs- quite musty in places, would benefit from a washing machine but we did really enjoy our stay

Row Farm Cottage is spacious and well equipped, with comprehensive cooking facilities and a great shower and bathroom. Roy the dog is also a lovely bonus!
Only minor issues are that it is not very well signposted (there's no indication that it's an accommodation place on the main road, which has a similarly named farm nearby), and you have to walk through the main bedroom to access the second bedroom so it wouldn't suit two couples..The beds are also starting to show their age.

The farm was cosy and the atmosphere was great. I am excited for this experience. The kitchen had all appliances even chemicals for cleaning. The most comfortable beds. Great location, many visiting places around the farm.

The location was amazing… a beautiful hideaway in the countryside of Lake District between sheep. The cottage was great, very cozy and perfect for a family with dog. Our dog Luna fell in love with the house dog - and think he was in love too! A really sweet creature! Great talking to Stephen our super friendly host. When we asked if we could stay a night longer there was no problem at all. The kitchen was fully equipped, beds perfect and shower also great. There were even special dog towels! The WiFi worked perfect (very important for our son haha) We will definitely come back!!

The surroundings and quietness
The property has everything you need but could use some updating throughout, especially in terms of soundproofing, as we could clearly hear noises from next door and the sorrounding farm.
Although the property shows as pet friendly, to our surprise we were told that our dog was not allowed in the bedrooms - this caused the need for one of us to sleep on the sofa with the dog on both nights, as they were agitated with new noises, sorroundings, etc. and they could not settle down wihtout being close to us.
The stairs to get to the bedrooms are quite steep. Also, the bedrooms are not separate - you have one bedroom at the top of the stairs, which is more like a big upstairs hall, and you have to go through this bedroom to get to the second one at the back.
