I had a wonderful stay at Mr. Stephen’s property. The house was clean, comfortable, and pleasantly set within a peaceful farm environment. The surroundings were beautiful and made the whole visit feel relaxing and refreshing.
Mr. Stephen himself was an excellent host—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. His dog was an absolute delight as well, very friendly and added a lovely touch to the farm experience.
Overall, the property was charming, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the hospitality was outstanding. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and enjoyable getaway.

Location fantastic , hosts were amazing … very warm . The owners dog was super friendly . Bedrooms were clean and linen was immaculate . The cottage was very warm
DVD player wasn’t working , the oven wasn’t clean , there is a leak in the bathroom and there were quite a few cobwebs

Peaceful, lovely scenery, very clean and everything you need is provided (other than personal toiletries as expected.). Quick replies to queries and very accommodating. Would recommend and will be rebooking!
As a fairly new driver the steep private road/driveway would have scared me but my husband drove so wasn't an issue.

The surroundings and quietness
The property has everything you need but could use some updating throughout, especially in terms of soundproofing, as we could clearly hear noises from next door and the sorrounding farm.
Although the property shows as pet friendly, to our surprise we were told that our dog was not allowed in the bedrooms - this caused the need for one of us to sleep on the sofa with the dog on both nights, as they were agitated with new noises, sorroundings, etc. and they could not settle down wihtout being close to us.
The stairs to get to the bedrooms are quite steep. Also, the bedrooms are not separate - you have one bedroom at the top of the stairs, which is more like a big upstairs hall, and you have to go through this bedroom to get to the second one at the back.
