2 Park Nook Close

The property is gorgeous. The area is outstanding. Such a lovely stay in this beautiful place. Enjoyed every minute. Will be back again.

2 park nook is stunning, the cottage is clean and tidy, comfortable, cosy and spacious the bed was lovely and comfortable, lovely touch with having bored games/books to hand,beautiful views of the coast. We had an amazing stay, we throughly enjoyed the Ravenglass railway and the river cruises on Coniston water and windermere. Gutted our week has come to an end, but we loved our stay that much we are going to book again for next year ❤️

Absolutely nothing, the cottage is amazing

It was useful to have the Brown Cow pub next door as the cottage as it offers food especially as the cottage is quite isolated. Situated on the main road makes it easy to travel about. The cottage is cosy and warm and offers most requirements for your stay.

It's not fair to say we didn't like anything, however a few things could be addressed. There could be a more precise information sheet although there were phone numbers to make contact if there was an issue. There was nowhere to empty the rubbish once the kitchen bin was full. Possibly thicker curtains in the back bedroom to block out the early morning sun. The decor was a bit tired although it is toward the end of the season. A list of local facilities would have been useful too e.g shops and when they were open. All that being said, we had a lovely week in a comfortable cottage with off road parking. A most enjoyable week.

All basic items fine. Great beds. Great shower. Great WiFi and tv. Pub next door good food. Parking on site.

Felt as if owner could try harder without spending much.eg taped over appliance and broken skirting under bathroom unit. Just add a little 'sorry we are getting this fixed' sign .. would make it look like you cared. Leaving a menu for the pub next door and opening times would be so simple but they didn't do that even though we think it is the same business.Visitor book last entry 2019.. chuck it away. It just looks bad! No where to sit on outside. Ok it was just a yard.. but it had nice views and we had fab weather. We would have sat out.No one asked us about our stay while we were there. It generally felt sad, shabby,unloved, and ticking all the boxes for what should be provided but only just.
