Great location for the town centre and train station in a quiet street. Spacious, clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. Nice little garden for sitting outside. Secure and safe with strong doors, windows, locks. Comfortable , clean beds. Good size kitchen with dining table. Good value for money with two well proportioned rooms that were light and airy. Tea and coffee provided- always a bonus when travelling. Plenty of clean towels provided. Hot bath/shower.

Some basic facilities were missing for self- catering: no hairdryer, no kitchen knives or sharp scissors for chopping vegetables or meat ( I had to use a cutlery knife which didn’t work well/), no toilet cleaner to keep it fresh after use, just a brush. Bath was blocked. When using the shower, the water rose up to my shins before slowly draining. (I am unsure if the owner is aware of this) No bin in the bedrooms. Sofa rather tired and worn so not particularly comfortable. The bin at the back of the property was overflowing with rubbish. Not pleasant to look at as the bin is in the garden itself. In the current heat wave, it smelled strongly once you got near it. There were two sets of information provided for the Wi-Fi username and password. One did not work, then I realised there was a separate set of information on a sticker which was correct, so rather confusing at first.

The beds were very comfy. The property is clean. Adequate utensils.

Nothing but maybe could do with a sharper knife. We like home cooked food, the knife was quite blunt.

The house was very clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and communication with the host was very easy and friendly. We will definitely return next time and recommend it to everyone.
