The location Was perfect We had been out all day in windy cold Glastonbury walking the Tor and exploring having a magical time and when we arrived home Rie had prepared a delicious meal for us all that had been laid out , the smell was divine . As a group Of 6 ladies we would definitely stay again and recommend this beautiful home thankyou Rie xxx

A fantastic property in the heart of Glastonbury.

What a wonderful property in very close proximity to Glastonbury High Street. Homely, comfortable, welcoming and with all the facilities you could need for a fantastic stay. Probably my favourite rental property of all of my travels. Highly recommended.

Homely, comfortable and peaceful 💚

Beautiful house and really well equipped.. perfect location to walk into Glastonbury (about 10 minutes) or the Torr which took us a 30 minute walk to catch the sunrise over Avalon ☮️

Good location and nice social spaces.

We loved the loved the location. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The garden was a nice space and the dining room was a good social area. It was nice to be left breakfast items.

The kitchen was rather grubby, we needed to bleach the washing up bowl, throw away the old sponge scourer and clean out the fridge.

The house created the perfect atmosphere and base from which to explore Glastonbury.

The property is a good size for a group with a good sized kitchen. You can relax into two other rooms downstairs. It was walking distance to town with a bus stop outside.

Exceptional

It was all so comfy and spacious. A truly lovely home from home with everything we needed for a very enjoyable weekend. I especially liked the sunny conservatory and lovely touches such as flagons of water from the holy wells and a basket of slippers. The house was decorated and furnished beautifully and the garden is pretty too. Would definitely recommend and we hope to stay there again in the future!

The doorway between the reading room and the conservatory has a raised trip hazard and care should be taken.

Everything was carefully thought out - the host had thought through what we might need and made sure it was there. The house was bigger than expected and lots of room for us all. Location was splendid with only a short walk to the high street.

Beautiful, cozy and spacious.

We had a lovely time at Rie’s house. My family used it as an anchor for exploring other towns and also as a refuge for feeling at home. Rie was always quick to reply and very kind. All the breakfast ammenities included were very convenient. The whole house has kindness in its details.

Beautiful house in a great location

Someone walked in the house who we didn't know, turned out to be a friend returning something! The next morning the cleaner was cleaning the house whilst we were getting packed ready to leave.

Exceptional

There was just a warm and welcoming atmosphere and you felt straight at home. Stunning rooms and really comfortable beds. Beautiful bathroom with a big tub, perfect for a long soak. Lots of choices for breakfast. From check-in to Check-out, there was no rush or stress and everyone was just so kind. I loved the beautiful garden which is perfect for meditation or relaxation, there are so many options. It is a perfect location and easy to get to Chalice well, orchards and Town centre. We cannot wait to come back again.

Fabulous host and house!

Rie is such a beautiful person, so helpful with showing us around the house, anything we needed and advice on things to do. She has so much information on things to do, which was great! The house also came with breakfast bits, her home made granola (which was incredible and you can also buy!), a whole load of herbal tea and other kitchen bits. The house was spacious, it had everything we needed in terms of kitchen appliances, bathrooms were clean and good showers, bed's were comfy and her living areas are SO lovely and comfortable. We really made the most of the house. She also has a fantastic garden with a fire pit and treatment room at the back if you'd like to book a massage or energy work. The location was also fantastic, it's a 5 minute walk to the high street and about a 15 minute walk up to the Tor. We had 6 girls staying and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better host, house and location! Can't recommend Rie's retreat more.

Comfortable, cosy, convenient!

Rie left tasty granola, vegan yogurt and fruit- delish! House was spacious, light and perfect for our group getaway. Rie thoughtfully met all our comfort needs. 😊

Perfect

The interior of the house was beautiful and very comfortable. There were lots of little unexpected touches, from slippers and essential oils, to beautiful glass bottles of eco shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We were also surprised by the breakfast! Rie had very kindly left her homemade granola, fresh fruit and both dairy and almond milk for our stay. Oh and there was every sort of tea imaginable, plus coffee maker, juicer and smoothie-maker! Our teens absolutely loved it too. The house is on a road but we were not aware of the noise of traffic, and it just made it really easy to walk into Glastonbury (less than 10 mins into the centre). We had a bracing and windswept walk up Glastonbury Tor on our last morning. I would thoroughly recommend Rie's retreat. We were a family of 7, youngest 14 and oldest 59.

Tolles Haus für Gruppen - Frühstück nicht inbegriffen

Die Lage des Hauses ist etwas außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum, ca. 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Zur Quelle geht man ca. 20 Minuten. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer und 1 Schlafcouch im Haus, sowie zwei Bäder und ein WC. Ein weiteres Schlafzimmer befindet sich im Gartenhaus. Toll ist der Wintergarten mit einem großen Tisch und Blick in den Garten, der auch mitgenutzt werden kann. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Alles ist ordentlich und besonders schön dekoriert. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl! Rie ist eine sehr nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeberin! Im Vorfeld hat sie mir immer wieder Fragen beantwortet. Bei Ankunft stand schon Quellwasser und ein Korb mit Äpfeln, sowie eine nette Begrüßungskarte und Tipps bereit. Auch während des Aufenthalts war Rie immer erreichbar und half bei Fragen z. B. wie der Ofen funktioniert weiter. Ich würde das Haus wieder buchen!

Es gab ein missverständnis mit dem Frühstück. Buchung wurde mit Frühstück bestätigt. Tatsächlich war das Angebot aber ein paar Lebensmittel für das erste Frühstück, und dann konnte man sich selber weiter versorgen. Ansich kein, Problem, aber bei einer Buchung inklusive Frühstück verstehe ich was anderes. - Eben wirklich ein tägliches Frühstücksangebot, jeden Tag. Das Haus ist sehr schön, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Heizung brauchte teils mal etwas länger, oder lief erst später an, das haben wir nicht ganz verstanden. In einem Zimmer kam uns der Türknauf entgegen. Wurde wieder ran gesteckt. Alles nicht schlimm, hat auch seinen scharm... :-)

Rie et sa dame de ménage / house keeper ont été adorables, très aidantes avant le séjour et pendant le séjour . Jardin très mignon et terrasse agréable au soleil. Chambres très bien, tout etait propre .

Attention quelques bocaux et pain périmés , mais quand on a prévenu la house keeper elle a tout de suite apporté d’autres choses c’était parfait

FInt hus, rent og hyggelig. Hagen er vakker og stedet egner seg veldig til en reteat, eller ferie :)

Huset og hagen var veldig fin og hjemmekoselig. Beliggenheten også veldig bra da den lå i gangavstand til Glastonbury og alle de vakre stedene rundt byen. Hushjelpen Rosie var så sør, hyggelig og behjelpelig. Eier var lett å kommunisere med før og under retreaten. Hun laget et fantastisk måltid til oss og la til rette for oppholdet på en utmerket måte. Vi fikk også tilgang til mer enn det vi hadde betalt for.

Det ble veldig stress morgenen da vi skulle reise fra retreatstedet. Det ble klargjort til neste gruppe før vi hadde fått avsluttet retreaten vår. Rie unnskylde seg i etterkant for dette.
