Not as expected

The surrounding area is very quiet, which we liked.

Unfortunately, everything looked much nicer in the photos than it was in reality. The entire villa needs an upgrade (especially the bathroom). We were sadly disappointed when we arrived and asked the owner for a refund for the remaining nights, but he refused. Since the money had already been paid, we decided to stay. It’s worth mentioning that you cannot access the villa by car, but thankfully the staff took us by buggy from the drop-off point (they are happy to drop you off and pick you up when needed). However, on a few occasions, no one responded when we needed them. Also, I am not sure what was put in the pool, but my wife’s white bikini turned green after swimming in it. In the booking description, it was mentioned that the villa provides daily housekeeping. However, after two days without anyone coming to take out the trash, we had to ask the staff personally to come and clean the room (even though we put a sign on the villa door requesting it, which the staff probably did not check).

Worth booking

Lovely little spot outside Ubud, very easy to get to and there a buggy to pick you up , place is spotless and bed very comfortable having the private pool was great , staff were very helpful and deliver breakfast each morning

Positives: - private pool - quiet surrounding - nice villa - kitchen where you can cook - tv with netflix on - good wifi - friendly staff, we could even store our luggage for a week - with any issue, we could text with manager on WhatsApp Things to improve: - there were a problem with water, maybe sort it out in the future - more cooking appliances, plates, cutlery, glasses - more options for breakfast

Bad behaviour of staff during checkout

Good value for money. The villa is decent, although the lights in the room are very dim.

This property is only accessible by buggy/golf cart or two-wheelers. Guests arriving by car or taxi are completely dependent on the villa’s buggy service for transportation to and from a nearby parking lot. On the day of checkout, my wife was feeling unwell, so we checked out slightly late—about 20 minutes past the 12 pm checkout time. To our surprise, the staff and manager suddenly became unhelpful and rude, refusing to drop us at the parking lot via buggy, claiming the buggy was "unserviceable." We believe this was a lie, as they simply didn’t want to assist us. They then rudely told us to wait while they finished cleaning our room and would later drop us by scooter to the parking lot—an impractical solution, given we had six suitcases with us. When we asked if they could arrange a buggy from nearby villas, they claimed they didn’t have their contact numbers, which is hard to believe. Instead of offering any help, they suggested we walk to the parking lot—about 15 minutes away, and even longer with luggage. In the end, we had to our find the contacts and call the nearby Villas on our own for help. Finally, Good Day Villa kindly sent their buggy to help us. To conclude, the overall pleasant stay of 4 nights we had at Sridewi villas was ruined by the rude and non-cooperative behavior of the manager/owner and staff during checkout!

Will not recommend

We liked the fact that was very quiet, the bed was comfortable and the pool. At first we were so excited that we extended our accommodation with one more night. I regret afterwards. The stuff were friendly and smiling even though sometimes was difficult to get a conversation with them.

We didn't like the fact that it was a bit far away from the main road and the taxi couldn't reach the location. We had to walk with our suitcases. Another thing it's that we asked for a complimentary floating breakfast as it was my breakfast, but that wasn't possible and we had to pay 250.000 just for few flowers and the floating table. We decided to pay as we wanted. We asked them to bring our breakfast at 09:30 as we had a lot of plans for that day. They ended up bringing it at 10:00!!! Even at that point they could offer us that floating breakfast as complimentary, but this didn't happen. Very disappointed. In the 3 days we've stay there they never came to clean or to change our towels or to provide us water. The ustensile from the kitchen were very dirty in the closet. The sinks in the kitchen and in the bathroom very dirty as well. Wc... Horrible. There wasn't a window in the bathroom and a lot of ants and small insects were always inside!!!! So so many!!! The pool was also dirty and green... I am not a picky person at all but the normal things I am expecting to have. I will not come back.

Hidden gem in Ubud

This place is a hidden gem beautiful villa and private pool in amongst the rice fields. 15 min from ubud little of the beaten track .but no problem on bike .great breakfast brought to your villa you order what you want the day before.the staff are amazing will help you with any of your wishes 5 star 🌟

Not managed, poor supervision. Remote location, no transport no way to reach their location alone, poor communication. Taxi parked 800 meter no way To reach location except go by walk and inform staff to bring the luggage.

Terrible location, choose somewhere else.

There are not very many things I like about this place. The ease of breakfast was a plus, and the workers were nice, they did not speak English very well. they were also proactive in their responses through Whatsapp.

Although there were many poor reviews about this place, we thought to give this stay the benefit of the doubt, we were wrong in doing this. The location is a major downfall to this place. You can only get there by motorbike. They allow you to be dropped off at Moksa restaurant, however, they will pick you up on a motorbike. this makes it hard when travelling with suitcases etc. It's also hard because it's not within walking distance of anything. We were glad we only stayed a couple of days. Consider another stay. Although the price is great, there's always a reason why. There was this terribly loud cat that came to our door every morning and spoke very loudly at us. We also had power outages.

Perfect villa, with amazing staff. The staff was always with a smile on their face and ready to assist you with anything. Totally recommended for a budget option!

The location is a bit outside of the centre and the taxi can’t pick up from the villas because the roads are not too big and they can’t approach on the villas area. You need to walk 5-8 minutes and send the drivers another location which will fit for his car. That will not be a problem if you have a scooter.

First impression of the villa was really good, private pool, spacious and really comfortable and large bed.

Well, as I said first impression was great but after little but of time we saw many minuses. Dirty water in the pool (probably not chemicaly treated but also bigger pieces that you could get away with strainer), not good cleaned bathroom (smudge on glass, walls and mirror), most of the kitchen utilities were really dirty - plates, knife and mainly mold on the cutting board! The main issue was gecko coming in during night thru roof and screaming really loud from 1am to 4am - I told about this the guy at reception and he said: “Ok, my boss”…and that was it. So another thing is that all the guys speak just a little bit of English which is nit helpful when you have a problem and you want them to sort it out and they just stand there, say OK and stare at you. Also dirty wall probably from gecko giving birth and 2 tiny dead geckos - see the photo. And the location. Probably good idea to have villas basicaly in the middle of rice fields but not accesible by car, only accesible by motorbike but the road is narrow with many holes and loose rocks so it can be dangerous when wet - especially for unexperienced drivers like many travelers are.

Calm, private, excellent hosting and inviting place

The whole villa was amazing, high privacy, nice pool, small kitchen with cooker helped in dinner and refrigerator, clean toilet with hot shower, towels, teeth brush and paste, hairdryer, clean place, some insects due to the presence in the middle of farms but just keep the door closed, friendly hospitable staff, good light breakfast

The place is somehow away from the main road as it's in the middle of farms which is not a bad point as it gives the place privacy and calmness, but the staff picked us fast upon arrival to the nearest point by their scooter,, and also dropped us off on leaving, so we had no problem with the location.

Remote peaceful place with rice terraces around. Staff is really nice. Taking lagguage with scooter because otherwise is impossible. Villa would be comfortable, and nice design,but...

The villa would be nice, but very dirty. Breakfast is horrible. Cold egg, or noodles, dry bread. We left pijama on the bed in the morning. Cleaner cleaned the room and our pijama was gone. It was worth more then a night stay in there. By the way, no housekeeping unless you ask for it.

Good concept but bad attention to details. Holes in the roof allowed bugs and gekos to enter the room, bathrooms were left unkept and extremely dusty almost as if they had never been cleaned. Breakfast was made in the staffs bed room, the cutlery was dirty, breakfast was 2 minute packet noodles or cold eggs, the sanitary factor is very questionable. The kitchen in the room was disgusting, the kettle had maggots in it and there were food crumbs left and stains on plates and cutlery from the previous tenant. Communication between staff and customers is difficult as they do not speak much English. Access to the villas itself is very challenging as it’s down a small broken road, if you can’t ride a scooter transport can be difficult. Good idea but needs improvements.

loved the villa - and the services of massage to our room. Very friendly staff and very helpful when we needed help with our luggage to get to our villa.

this villa is a little off road (500mtrs). This was not a concern to us - but the road to the villa doesnt fit a car. The villa were suberb in coming to us on arrival and helping with all our luggage. Recommend to get a scooter in the dark time back to villa. Did not bother or concern us, but could be an issue for future stayers. Other than this - it is such a beautiful place, rite in the middle of the rice fields.

Overall it was a beautiful place, but not for a tourist to stay in.

Breakfast was delicious.

The location was incredibly inconvenient. Our driver struggled finding the place and eventually had to call to get help and they sent two scooters down to have us hop on with our suitcases and they drove us down a narrow road with no car access. Being a tourist we realized we'd have to rent scooters to get anywhere we wanted to see. It was very dangerous conditions to drive in due to the narrow roads and no streetlights at night and being inexperienced with a scooter.

Overall, it’s a very comfortable place and fantastic value for money for pool villa. plus, we love to open the front door right to the ricefields.

A few things could be improved: - the signage at the turn to the villa - the road down to the villa which is quite dirty and slippery especially in a rainy day - the quality of breakfast (not a problem to add some veggies into fried noodle ( - the dust inside of the room - it looks clean at first, but rather dusty when you try to access to a plug on the bedside

The location was perfect for me, slightly out of the way 10 mins by scooter to the centre of town with plenty of rice fields.The staff are super friendly and responsive. Someone stays at the property overnight so felt very safe as a solo female traveller.

I work online and there is some construction going on next door but the manager was very accommodating and would cut it off during the hours that I was working. I really appreciated that. 🙏🏽

The place is a bit far from the citycenter but that is also what’s make the location really good. Surrounded by ricefields without any cars being able to get close makes this stay really relaxed. buying things in the local market and bringing to the villa to cook ourself is also something you can do with a nice kitchen. If you want to go to citycenter it’s also totally possible to walk in a hour.

Great stay with great pool and directly within rice fields

- Komang was a very nice host. He explained everything to us and is a very sweet person - luggage was brought to the villa by motorbike, even our huge suitcases that normally don't fit on a bike - the private pool was awesome and clean - room was clean, stylish and comfortable - location in the rice fields is excellent. - the atmosphere is very calm and not as noisy as Ubud

- going to Ubud takes some time, especially if you go by car, because the villas are not accessible by car and you have to walk for 3-4 minutes to reach the street that is accessible for cars
