Le quartier sympathique et le charme de l’emplacement de l’appartement.

Les personnes ont trouvé que ce n’était pas très propre à leur arrivée. Il manquait par exemple des torchons.

The location was quite convenient with train, shops and cafes nearby. A number of sights were within a reasonable walking distance. The apartment had most items available to make it liveable, such as cooking and laundry facilities. When we asked about removal of rubbish at the end of our stay the agent said they would do it which was great as taking it downstairs would have been difficult.

The apartment is on the top floor of the building, about 6 floors, with no elevator, so it was a fair bit or work getting luggage up the stairs to the room and then having to traverse it each day. We were there during a heat wave and only two out of the three bedrooms had air conditioning which in any event were unable to cope and were not able to keep the rooms cool. This was made worse by being the top floor with no insulation between us and the roof. We found that the shower drain wasn't able to cope with the amount of water so would overflow. We later found that there was a plunger in the bathroom which when used on the shower drain cleared it so it worked ok. The air conditioning appeared to not have any run off hose leading to water accumulating on the floor around the air conditioning units, which we had to use towels to soak up. The refrigerator was only small with no freezer, like a bar fridge. The kettle was broken and the agent when we let them know offered to replace it. On the last night our key did not unlock the door. Contacting the leasing agent was difficult and we found that there was no 24hr access to them. We ended up communicating with them mainly by email and it took over 5hrs (11.30pm) before someone was able to let us in, which was uncomfortable in the heat and really difficult with children at that time of night as we had to sit outside the building on the footpath. Although there was a rear door to the apartment it didn't appear that the agent had that key, and we had only been given one.
