Perfect quiet stay in lovely Paris!

Very quiet location, close to many shops and restaurants and close to metro stations. The apartment has seperate bedrooms on a second floor and a very nice badroom. On our leaving day we had the possibility to leave our luggage in the building until the afternoon, which was perfect for our last day in Paris!

No curtains on the front side of the building. On the second floor we used the sun screens during the evenings and nights.

Great apartment for 2 persons with a great price

The apartment is very cozy and well located, close to supermarkets, the metro, there is a good connecting bus nearby. Tons of restaurants and cafes in the area. The managers are super nice and communication was very easy. They were super accommodating and easy going. I highly recommend staying there

Lovely apartment in a great location

Lovely apartment. Quiet location and lots of restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries around. Nice toilet and shower area too. I also liked that the stairs are not so steep and not spiral. It helps when you are tired from walking all day.

A very minor thing like you can hear the water from the upstairs neighbor’s pipe but that might be normal in Paris, not sure and didn’t change our great experience in the apartment.

Great location, simple, small, perfect for a couple of days.

Great location, I had a quiet room at the back, all the amenities you need including an ironing board and washing machine. Perfect place for a few days and the host were very kind and responsive.

My room did not have any space for my suitcase and there's nowhere to lounge other than the bed so it's like a hotel room with a kitchen.

A nice and tidy apartment in a brilliant part of the city. Plenty of great dining, cafes & bars.

Great location in a wonderful part of the city. Not many tourists and handy to the underground. Lively dining, bars and cafes and more of a locals area. Plenty of bakeries, supermarkets and fresh fruit and veg shops nearby.

Very thin walls and upstairs plumbing runs through upper corner of flat and this is not sound proofed so you hear everything they do - graphically. Otherwise it is a quite and very comfy apartment.

Good location. Very near Pere Lachaise Cemetery. Easy transport links to lots of places in Paris - less than 10 minutes walk to metro station. Nice apartment with good cooking facilities and clean, comfortable bedrooms.

Payment was a little strange - having to do a bank transfer before arrival.

The apartment is perfectly thought out, down to the smallest details. Everything you might need – and even more – is provided. A convenient capsule coffee machine, a compact dishwasher, a regular washing machine, an ironing board, an iron – all the little things are there. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking: dishes, utensils, beautiful glasses, nice pots and plates. Everything is very clean and well organized. The bathroom is also ideal: a spacious, comfortable shower cabin, clean and tidy cabinets, everything clearly arranged with great care and love. Large panoramic windows give the apartment a bright and cozy atmosphere. The bed is truly double (not two singles pushed together) with a very comfortable mattress. The location is excellent – close to the metro, with shops nearby. The host and the cleaning lady are very kind and responsive, always available for questions. They were flexible with check-in and check-out times, making everything comfortable for guests. I would also like to highlight the perfect renovation in Scandinavian style: white walls, high ceilings, very clean and neat. Everything feels fresh and modern. Overall, I had only positive emotions from my stay. Next time I come to Paris, I will definitely try to book this apartment again.

In need of regular maintenance and care.

In a reasonable and quiet location close to shops, cafes and metro stations.

The information on Booking.Com did not accurately reflect what you will get. The property was poorly maintained and when we questioned this we were told we had got we had paid for, it was the ‘cheaper’ of any accommodation he had and it was inferred it was good value for the money. Ref images….We were told the two windows were damaged during refurbishment work after covid and the peeling paint in the entrance hall occurred due to an issue last November. So these could have been rectified 4 years ago and 8 months ago respectively. They were not. In addition to this the safety cables on the banister had many loose and broken wires, the wooden floor needed some attention and the shower over the bath required some maintenance as there was a missing knob. Jim wanted all communication to go through WhatsApp and was quite agitated when we initially communicated our concerns through Booking.Com. Jim did offer to refund us for three nights but as nothing else was available to us we remained in this accommodation.

Lovely apartment in a peaceful cul de sac yet close to the metro and steps away from shops and restaurants. The apartment had all we needed for we stay. Our host Jim met us when we arrived and made us very welcome. He also gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants.

Spacious apartment in a quiet area with easy access to the city centre

We had a great time at Jim's apartment! He was easy to get a hold of ahead of our stay and was waiting at the property when we arrived to give us the key. He was also accessible by Whatsapp the entire time, in case anything came up. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and the building itself was well maintained and on a very quiet street. We loved the neighbourhood as it had lots of great restaurants, bars, and cafes and stations for the line 2 and 3 metros were just a few blocks away from the apartment. Would highly recommend Jim's apartment to anyone coming to Paris who wants a more 'local experience' while still being able to easily access the city's big sights. We'll stay here again for sure!

Kind and friendly host for a comfortable and clean location. We had a great stay!

The location was very close to many good bars, restaurants and grocery stores, etc. The place was clean and comfortable, as described. Jim, who met us to hand over keys, was a very friendly and kind host. Answered any questions we had and offered some good recommendations. The beds were comfortable, the place was cozy and offered plenty of space. Two different metro stations within short walking distance. I have nothing negative to say about this stay and location.

Very enjoyable long weekend when it was good to know we were staying in comfortable accommodation.

This is a spacious and well- located apartment . There are shops and restaurants near by and it is only a 10/15 minute walk to Place de la Republique. There are two Metro stations within 5 minutes walk and so travel to the centre of Paris and other areas was easy.

My fellow travellers did not like the numerous flights of stairs up to the apartment . One of them would also have liked more pillows.

the appartment was not very clean and several equipments are vetuste and in need of refurbishment/change (eg: sofa, bathroom sink). Cheap furniture. The only annoying aspect concerne the bed linen (clean but full of stains and poor quality)

V quiet location. Lots of food shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is spacious, has 2 toilets and was v clean. Fully equipped kitchen and even had Nespresso coffee machine. I would certainly stay here again.

Jim and Brenda were easy to deal with and very pleasant! it was a nice little space with multiple mini rooms. Very quiet street and apartment faced sunny and quiet internal courtyard. Pics and descriptions were realistic. apartment was clean. Great Ecuadorian restaurant around the corner! Would happily stay again.

The apartment is located in a quiet street without car traffic, in a very nice neighborhood. The apartment is very bright. There are several supermarkets around the corner (including a vegetarian supermarket) and restaurants, also several subway stations. It is a good starting point to explore the city. The apartment is beautiful and tasteful. Those spending time there with several people should take into account that it is one open space over two floors and there is no space to have real privacy.

The stairs and the railing in the apartment is very wobbly. On Booking.com there are also a few photos of rooms that do not exist in the apartment.

Beautiful spacious duplex flat, at the end of a dead end street so no traffic noise. The apartment is stylish and well equipped. the staircase to clim is a bit of a thing but if you can manage this place is much larger than the average Parisian flats.
