A lovely spacious, well decorated property

Perhaps a bigger fridge would have been perfect but that was possibly because the weather was so hot.

great location, beautiful decor, good ratio of beds/rooms bathrooms.

a few small niggles. towels could be bigger. The fridge/freezer did not work as it didn’t seem to have been installed properly and we couldn’t get the door to shut. as a group of 13 with food/drink for three days even if the fridge had worked it was not big enough. would be helpful to have a second fridge for drinks in the utility room. consider providing some board games/shelf of books for guests use. a few more utensils for the kitchen - scissors, baking trays/roasting tins. some pans didn’t work on the induction hob. These are all small suggestions and didn’t ruin our enjoyment just feedback for your consideration. We had a great time and would book again.

The property was excellent for a weekend 70th birthday family gathering of 9 adults, 5 children. Masses of space for all concerned, great kitchen and dining set up, big garden for children to play in, super comfortable beds - which worked exactly right for our numbers. Hot tub enjoyed by children and adults alike. Reasonably well equipped. 3.5 bathrooms ensured good facilities available for everyone. Comfortable good-sized sitting rooms. Pool table and table tennis table in the carport were excellent additions (if there had only been table tennis bats and ball available!). Good location 10 minutes from Henley town centre. The weather was fantastic but I don't suppose that was within their control 🤣.

It seems harsh to mention anything because we had a brilliant weekend but there were a few niggles. There was no teapot! And a small cafetière that only did 3/4 cups of coffee. (There was also a Nespresso coffee machine but it takes a long time to make 14 cups of coffee one at a time!) A house capable of having 14 people needs a big teapot and the means for making lots of coffee quickly. The water temperature in the en suite shower for the principal bedroom was scalding hot and could not be reduced to a comfortable temperature. There were no bats and balls for the table tennis table. The light between the twin beds in one room was broken when we arrived. The bromine powder for the hot tub ran out and we couldn't get the chlorine content up to the prescribed level on the second day. Both the grill and the separate microwave had not been cleaned properly. No small glasses. All minor niggles but these are the sort of things that make a difference to a special weekend - and need attention.
