Lovely property great friendly host!

Location is lovely like the holiday film. Clean, host was nice and easy gave all the information we needed. Nice shower , easy location walking distance of Sedbergh, friendly helpful neighbours . Fantastic fun Christmas decorations just great thank you SO much.

A peaceful little weekend in and amazing little cottage

It was A beautiful little cottage, so clean, it had everything we needed and the host Gary was lovely making sure when we got there we knew what to do. There were even little treats for us.

Stunning cottage, I wish I could live here!

Wow. What an amazing little cottage! Absolutely stunning. Everything you could wish for and more. We are doing the Dales Way and this has to be the best accomodation on route by far. After a long day walking we have enjoyed a long bath and sat by the log burner. Life can't get any better than this. Thank you Gary for letting us stay at your little cottage. We have loved every minute and will be sad to leave.

Beautiful location, gorgeous cottage

Our second stay at the cottage and we loved it. We would love to go back again. The cottage is in a beautiful location with fantastic views and had everything we needed. Just a short walk to Sedbergh with a few lovely pubs/restaurants. Would recommend to anybody. Gary is very kind and helpful.

Beautiful little cottage in a charming hamlet. Very comfortable. 2 bedrooms both with large comfy beds. Loved the decor and bespoke furniture..

If I had to write anything negative it would just be the small bit of mouldy strip at the bottom of the shower screen, but that is absolutely nit picking.

Beautiful peaceful cottage

The Dalesway cottage is beautiful! It's a lovely place to stay. There is a beautiful back garden area with sheep in the next field, and there are lots of bird feeders to watch the wildlife. A very relaxed feel and the bedrooms are gorgeous, the beds are so comfortable with luxurious bedding. Gary was very quick to answer our queries and was very friendly via messaging. He left us some nibbles but we left those as a return gift for him! I feel very lucky to have found this beautiful cottage. Thank you.

A superb cottage for either a one night stay or longer. Amenities are excellent including the little extras they provide

Another wonderful stay on our return from our holiday to Scotland. A perfect stopover in a beautiful location. If a little remote. Sedburgh is about a 10 minute drive away, or can be walked in roughly 20/25 minutes but can be hilly in parts. Communication with the owner is good. He responds to messages very quickly.

Look forward to visiting again

We found the accommodation to be well equipped and beautiful setting. And the bonus to have good parking right outside. The complimentary tray was a lovely touch and well received. Beds were very comfortable and very clean. We had everything we needed. And a perfect stop over.

The only comment to make was the cleanliness of the downstairs floor. We went to mop a spillage up on the lounge floor and were surprised to find it quite dirty. We couldn’t find a mop and bucket so ee did it by hand.

Beds were very comfy and shower had good pressure. Had all amenities we could need. It was a beautiful location with great views to the back of the property. We loved it so much, we have booked to stay again in August.

Only small negative is edge of shower door guard could do with bleaching to remove black mildew.

Beautiful cottage in stunning hamlet with direct access to the fells and parking outside the property . Very quiet neighbourhood and close to M6 for access.Good sized property well equipped.

Great cottage

Great little cottage in a beautiful quiet rural location. There was absolutely no traffic noise and the garden at the back has a lovely view. Place to park the bikes just off road but it felt really secure, I wasn't worried about them at all.

This wasn't a down side for us but so people are aware it's a 20min walk to the restaurants in sedbergh and you need to book in advance.

Fantastic Cottage with everything

The cottage was clean and very comfortable. The location was central for our stay in the Dales. The fire was set ready to light and there was a box of firewood ready to go. The heating system was excellent and the washing machine very handy. The host had left a welcome pack of beer milk and chocolates. We were made to feel very welcome.

Clean, quiet, warm, in a sweet village. Lovely old building, parking out the front for a normal sized car. Bedrooms warm, cosy and clean. Very comfortable.

A delightful cottage in a quiet village location, perfectly situated if you are walking the Dales Way path. Booking communication and access to the property was easy and straightforward. The cottage was clean and very well equipped with thoughtful touches. We loved being able to watch the birds and sit outside.
