The cottage had everything we needed in a beautiful setting. It was spotlessly clean and owner was on hand if we needed anything.
Bedside light wasn’t great for reading in bed!

This is probably the nicest stay we have had anywhere in our travels. A gorgeous, well-maintained property in a hamlet with plenty of walks to the nearest town. The cottage was beautiful with a lovely outside space for coffee, the inside was well set out and perfect for us and our small dog. Thank you for an amazing stay
The bedroom at the top is very light in the mornings and a blackout blind on the velux men get help although we are early risers.

The cottage is in such a lovely tranquil location, it’s a short walk from the river and a few minutes drive to Sedbergh. The property itself is beautiful, well equipped, tastefully decorated throughout, comfortable and clean. We could even smell how clean it was upon entering the property. It was a lovely touch to find milk , muffins, biscuits along with tea and coffee left for us. There was a selection of board games which we used and the wood burner was so cosy on the night once it started to get a bit chilly. The beds and pillows were extra comfortable and we all had a great nights sleep which we normally don’t when we are away. The owner was lovely too and thanked us for leaving the cottage immaculate which was a nice touch. We will be booking to come back for a longer stay as we loved it so much.
