We loved the location, quiet and relaxing, the cottage had everything we wanted. The log burner was great in the evenings. It’s actually bigger than it looks being over 3 floors. Also the tv had all the Sky channels/cinema + Netflix for evening movies. Also off street parking. 😁👍

The Stables is beautiful well maintained and tastefully decorated throughout and has everything you need for a perfect home away from home
The beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms well designed and absolutely spotless
The kitchen is very well equipped with all the pots, pans and cutlery you need
The location is perfect for local walks or trips further a field but we were so snug in front of the log burner it was hard to pull ourselves away
We will be back to this oasis of calm in a crazy world
The host is very responsive and gave clear instructions on keys and checked in via text once we had arrived

Great location we chose to spend our Christmas. The house was immaculate and was decorated with a proper Christmas vibe.
Everything you could never need was found in the property and the WiFi was ultra super fast, which was a shock, given the locations remoteness.
Sedbergh has plenty of walks to explore and the locals are very friendly.
Nothing. Was perfectly listed

Beautifully and cleverly furnished cottage, cosy and warm when we arrived, comfy sofas, comfy bed, small but well equipped kitchen, spotless throughout. Even a throw to put on a sofa for our dog. Wet and windy during our short stay so we only walked locally, but a good area to explore. Highly recommend. Thanks again Gary.

The quality of the fixtures and fittings. The simplicity of heating/temperature control.
Quiet location.
The shower tray on the first floor bathroom didn't drain well at all.

Crook View cottage in Millthrop is a real little gem! Not only is it pet friendly (we have two dogs and it can be a bit of a mission to find suitable accommodation) but it is also really cosy and comfortable. A great deal of care and attention to detail has gone into making the most of this pretty little cottage packed with amenties from a dedicated parking space right outside to a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and spacious bathroom (with lovely fluffy towels). We got there after dark and the icing on the cake was a glorious walk up the hill the next day to see the autumn sun rise over the Dales: magical! We just wish we had stayed longer to be able to enjoy a log fire in the woodburner after more lovely walks. Sedbergh's pubs and shops are only a 3 minute drive up the hill, so eating out is not an issue.
Nothing!

We liked everything about the cute cottage. It is in a small hamlet on the edge of Sedbergh. It was an easy pleasant walk into Sedbergh. Great for walks with dogs right on the doorstep. Local cafe & pubs take well behaved dogs so no issues there. The cottage is very clean & in a lovely spot. Beautiful walk down to Fairfield Mill along the river straight from the door. No need to use the car for a short break if you like walking.

Very clean, warm, cosy, everything worked. Although we didn’t cook it was a well stocked kitchen in terms of implements and crockery.
Info from Gary as to how to find it was useful.
Nothing. No problems at all.

Lovely character cottage furnished and equipped to a high standard.
Fantastic location enabling plenty of places to visit and walks from the door. Sadly I was unable to join my husband and doggy on such walks as I had a bad foot but would dearly love to return one day to do so...infact, I would happily spend the rest of my days in a dear little cottage such as this one!

We stayed for four nights. Sedbergh stands alongside the best that England has to offer and comfortably holds its own. We have been exploring its environs for 24 Years. The magnificence of the Western Dales is well served - so much to see and plenty to do. Millthrop is a beautiful gem. The River Lune at Killington Bridge is the Queen of Rivers: the Rawthey is its daughter and the Clough and Dee its granddaughters. Check 'em out peeps - you won't be disappointed.
Shower tray on first floor was a little sluggish emptying. Temperature control on the shower was stiff and a little difficult for slightly arthritic fingers to manage accurately.

It was in a perfect location, the garden was amazing, the cottage was decorated to a good standard, everything you needed was there. Communication with the host was excellent, quick reply to questions. This cottage is a hidden gem in the heart of the countryside.
There was nothing that we didn't like.

This is a lovely cottage in a really pretty hamlet just outside Sedbergh. The cottage was very cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The owner Gary was very helpful. Sedbergh is very well located and there are lots of lovely walks nearby. I would recommend the sausages from butchers in the village. We had a lovely week staying here.

We loved everything from parking the car, very clean outside, and the sitting area in the small garden had tablet and chairs surrounded by the smell of flowers and a perfect view of the surrounding countryside. From stepping into the hallway place to take your boots off and to hang your jacket place for everything, and a refreshing smell of clean ness. Walking into the sitting room, openplan to kitchen was attention to detail by the owners. It had everything you needed. The layout was perfect in a small area, table and chairs in the corner, two two settees, a TV and unit in the other corner, and a log burner in the centre which was all ready to use if needed, a small unit on the back wall had a book with information about the house, and information and a map of the surrounding area.,The kitchen area had everything stated in booking .com and more if you needed it.A lovely touch with the milk in the fridge and the individual packets of tea, sugar, cakes, and biscuits.
Going upstairs on the landing, had a reading chair and a small unit, the two doors, one leading to bedroom one, beautiful decor and had everything you needed clean towels on the bed, the bed was really comfortable and the best night sleep we have had in a long time. The bathroom had a large shower, bath, toilet (toilet rolls), and sink, no expense spared on the tiles, toiletries if needed in the shower. Going up the next lot of stairs leads into the second bedroom, and my daughters words wow, beautiful decor, towels, and another comfortable bed. The en suite was an extra bonus. Excellent communication skills from the owner, house was homely, and we would definitely return.

A wonderful little village very close to amenities in Sedbergh. Everything neccessary for self catering in the cottage. Even including logs , firelighters for a wood burning stove.
Parking limited in the village so a dedicated spot for the cottage a bonus
Decorated and fitted to high standard . Very comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities.
Nothing as far as we could find
