Rural getaway with a view - Old Spout Barn

The view from the living room window is wonderful. The bedrooms were perfect. The WiFi worked well all the time. Never had a kitchen that well equipped : good casseroles, pans,... Oven, microwave, cooking range,refrigerator, deep fridge, washing machine and dish washer : it is all available. Lots of walking routes close to the house and shopping facilities nearby. For us this was the perfect holiday location. The Dales are wonderful.

Location stunning, beautiful place.

Just stayed 3 nights in Old Spout Barn and was really happy with the accommodation. Everything needed was available, very well equipped, clean and warm, good shower pressure and plenty of hot water. Comfortable rooms and beds. The location is stunning, views of the valley to watch the sheep and the sunset. Off road parking and a small area with table and chairs outside. If you close the gate, the area is secure for dogs. Perfect location for exploring both the lake district and Yorkshire. Village shop, pub and a butcher not too far away for supplies. 3 day's wasn't long enough really, so we will definitely be back when visiting the area in the future. Good communication with the owner, easy check in and out, I would advise putting the name of the lane in the sat nav rather than the post code and then follow the directions given. 10 stars from me.

Nothing not to like, the only suggestion is perhaps a little coffee/sofa table so I didn't have to stretch to get my wine 🙃
