Avoid. Misleading description, unprofessional host.

There was not much to like from this rental other than the obviously convenient location in old town Zug.

This listing should be taken off Booking.com. - the description is misleading. This is not an “entire apartment”, it is a bedroom with a shared bathroom on the floor. - towel was stained. - carpet was stained. - spider webs here or there. - bed linen not pressed. - WiFi not working and issue unresolved despite my reporting it. - key hard to turn to lock the room. I could do it as I’m strong enough to pull the door tight and force a turn of the key, but I don’t know what an older lady would have been able to do. - some electronic sound coming from next door at regular intervals was also bothering.

Currently not worth the money

The host agreed to return me the money without any issue - I am waiting for booking.com to complete the transfer.

The room was not clean and prepared for my arrival: The bed was not made and seemed to be used, the towels were thrown next to the TV, the garbage bin was completely full. I did not feel like staying there so I found another place after 1 night. I think there is a cleaning problem in general - I thought it would have been better as other guests complained about the same.

It was the most horrible accommodation I ever had. I refused to stay there, bcs it was disgusting.

It was just disgusting: the towels were from the previos guest, the sheets of the bed as well. The floor was not vaccumed, there was a lot of dust. The table in the room was also not cleaned, there were some stains on it. Then the bathroom was not cleaned as well, the shower was dripping. As well the bath was only accessable from a corridor and not from the room itself. This is wrong indicated in this offer. Was changing my stay on my own, because I couldn't stay in this mess. I was complaining immediatly, that I can't accept that. The host and booking don't want to refund the money.

Beds not changed from previous guests - nothing like the pictures - shower broken I actually walked out after 10mins and found alternative accommodation- . Worst place ever- host stating not his fault the cleaner hadn't shown up!! Appalling don't bother booking Shame on Booking.com having these types of places on their portfolio Will be expecting a full refund

The location

The room appears to be furnished with left over furniture, the electrical sockets were overloaded and to turn on the main light you have to crawl under the table. There is a constant beeping noise that goes off all night every 4 to 5 minutes, this kept me awake. The bathroom is not connected to the room (not mentioned in description) and you have to go out into the common area shared by 4 other flats to access it.

the bathroom is not directly accessible from the room (misleading as it is described as a whole apartment) and the bathroom wasn’t clean. Not even sure if it is private. The shower had what looked like months and months worth of limescale, the toilet hasn’t been cleaned. Coffee machine in the room, but neither coffee nor cups make it pretty useless. great location though and comfortable bed

Die Lage war gut

Das Zimmer trafen wir schmutzig an. Ein TV als Atrappe, nur ein Stuhl und ein Nachttisch. Die angebliche Nachttischlampe war defekt. Wasserkocher klebrig und er schimmelte. Ebenso der Kühlschrank schimmelte. Die Kapselmaschine war gefüllt mit gebrauchten Kapseln. Im Kleiderkasten war ein Durcheinander. Die Fenster waren auch schmutzig. Im Badezimmer war der Wasserhahn und die Duschbrause verkalkt und in der Dusche lief das Wasser schlecht ab. Der Boden war schmutzig und die Dusche allgemein schmutzig. Den Vermieter haben wir bei der Ankunft angerufen und auf die Combox gesprochen, ohne Erfolg.
