Villa Lina

Villa Lina is a beautiful house that over looks Lake Como set right next to the lake in the grounds of a grand old house. everything in Tremezzo is an easy walk. Lina and Alessandro are wanderful hosts welcoming you to their beautiful home and helping with local info and tips. the breafast was amazing. the room large and spacious. the off street parking means you can just forget about your car and walk and take the boats to get around.

Lina and Alessandro were such lovely people, they were welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed and were a pleasure to chat to!

The hosts were amazing, the location very convenient, the picturesque view from the room, it was very clean. The breakfast was very versatile. There was also closed parking on the territory, which for Como is very nice.

Beautiful villa, well designed by Lina herself. Behind a private gate, a three minute hike up a hill but with lovely views. The room is nice and spacious. There is AC.

This is a private villa and not a hotel like the Booking ad leads one to believe. I was only given breakfast on one morning when I paid for 2 nights. There are more rules than my parents had when I had to live with them as a youth and I literally went into PTSD over it. My passport was taken from me on the first night and not guven back to metil I left. I was here for a wedding and obviously I was going to want to party but I felt like they didnt like or appreciate that and when my friend came to get me on the morning of my checkout and help me with my rucksack as will be doing the next part of my travel experience at their hotel, I got yelled at and then the owners yelled at each other. Honestly I had to turn on my inner bitch and be like 'dont you threaten me and return my passport now' the room cost $700 for two nights, show me some repect! I understand they dont want to host anymore but dont take that out on me. Also I paid for a place with breakfast which was supposed to be 9-11 but when I came down at 10.40 am this morning there was none. They also texted me early to remind me of my 11am checkout. Seriously every other place would have offered me a late checkout knowing I was at a wedding.
