Staff, location and cleanliness were 5 stars!

This little hotel is a hidden gem; a family run environment where there is genuine love put into the rooms, the food, the garden, pool and overall environment. It is like stepping in to a fairytale and I could not get enough pictures of the gorgeous property! I stayed in the Annex - the upper level which has a prime view of the lake. It was a gorgeous stay. Initially we were put in the lower annex but requested the upper. While the lower annex has a lake view, there is a topiary in front as well as the pool/garden which are all lovely, but if you are imagining throwing open the glass doors to a lake view, the lower annex is a different experience - better for those who want privacy. The owners were able to accommodate my request to move to the upper annex, and I enjoyed every minute of staring at the gorgeous lake from my balcony, which made my 50th birthday and the long travel to get there all worthwhile! I can't say enough good things about the breakfast, and we also had dinner there one night which was so lovely. I hope to be back one day!

The hotel offers you the comfort you are looking for at Lake Como; the hotel (design wise) brings you back in time - it’s classy and comfortable. Perfect for people who are looking for a bit of (basic) luxury and rest where hotel staff pay attention to their guests. The bedroom is quite basic with a great AC and average sized bath room. Because of the size of the hotel the staff is able to be very hospitable. The pool is a big plus!

No elevator available, it’s not a big thing but it would have been a plus. The hotel only offers dinner on certain days which can be challenging when you don’t feel to go out, luckily there are plenty of restaurants on a walking distance.

Nowhere to sit next to the pool when we arrived as every recliner was taken and no restaurant open that night which we weren’t aware of until we arrived. The room was very dated and basic with no coffee making facility for first coffee in the morning

An absolutely beautiful hotel! We loved everything…the room was incredible, the views are stunning, everything is immaculately clean and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast every morning was perfect. We had dinner one night and it was delicious. And a digestif on the terrace overlooking the lake was the perfect end to any day. The location is amazing, a very short walk to the ferry or local restaurants. We really loved everything about our stay, we will definitely be back and we 100% recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful stay - warm hospitality and stunning lake views made it truly special. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from bus and ferry ports, with great restaurants nearby. They kindly offered us breakfast even on our early departure day, which we appreciated.

Only thing missing was a hot water kettle in the room, but everything else was excellent!

It was an amazing stay, the staff were so kind and attentive. We really couldn't find fault. Location was great too, just a short walk to restaurants and bars and the ferry.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The views were breathtaking, and the location couldn't be better—just a short walk to the ferry and fantastic restaurants. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we loved every moment. The value for money was exceptional! We can't wait to return and will definitely be recommending this hotel to our family and friends. The owners and staff took such great care of us, making our stay even more special. Highly recommend!

Hotel owner and her staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is an absolute delight, especially their freshly baked croissants, both plain and apricot filled, and their homemade jams! If too tired to eat out, their evening food is absolutely delicious, they source their vegetables from a family-owned farm nearby. Facilities are clean and appropriately sized.

Queen sized bed in our annex room was actually two twin beds pushed together, so a bit uncomfortable if you like to sleep in the middle of the bed. Shower head arrangement in the annex rooms are a bit strange—easy to make a soaking mess of the bathroom if you are not careful!

Onsite parking was important to us. great breakfast on their beautiful terrace. friendly staff. rooms were clean and very comfortable. a great place to base yourself. restaurants a little scarce nearby but there were a few. highly recommend. would stay there again.

This is a friendly, charming, family-owned hotel. The views of the lake are fabulous and it's a 10-15 walk to restaurants, a pretty waterfront park, shops, the fancy Grand Hotel Tremezzo with its chic waterfront bar, the Villa Carlotta and gorgeous gardens, and ferries to everywhere on the lake, including Bellagio and Varenna (must sees). Our Junior Suite room was huge with a spectacular frescoed ceiling and wrap-around terrace.

There is a busy road in front which is unavoidable when located on the lake as the mountains rise steeply from it.

Absolutely everything! wonderful hosts, spectacular review of the lake from my room, a spacious room with a balcony, a refurbished bathroom. Seriously - this place was just the best!

Length of stay - I wish I could have stayed longer

We loved our stay here! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the view from our room was sensational. We actually stayed and extra 2 nights because we loved the location so much. A beautiful hotel and room/facilities were superb. Definitely would stay again and recommend to friends and family. Breakfast was awesome as well.

Beautiful location, beautiful space, truly lovely staff

Loved the staff and the hotel itself. The room was large and comfortable. The patio, pool and terrace are relaxing and where we wanted to be.

The bedding could be updated, but not a deal breaker.

We enjoyed our time at the lovely villa. Breakfast was nice with a very attentive staff...we especially loved the lattes each morning while sitting on the terrace. The covered roof above the tower has pretty views of the lake.

The views from the property were lovely, as was the breakfast. The staff were very helpful with dinner recommendations, and nothing was too much trouble. Our room had a lovely little private terrace with table & chairs which was a lovely surprise.

Proximity to the road, but we knew this going into it and we didn’t notice it in the evening. We noticed it’s quite common for the hotels in the area too.
