Great location, comfortable bed and sleep! Great host with clear communication regarding check in, parking, check out etc.

The shower temperature was very temperamental and could be extremely hot within seconds. Would not prevent us returning, great stay.

This list is unfortunately longer. The first room we were in had a musty smell and was accessed by going through the hotel breakfast room and prep area which started food prep at 7:30. In addition you could hear nonstop people walking on the adjacent apartment. We were then moved to a better room in the main lodge. Billed as a 4 star we expected the bed to be more updated with a quality mattress. While the sheets were fine, the pillows were hard as wood and should have been retired a few hundred visitors ago. The internet worked ok in the lodge living room but barely in our room. The keys were very difficult to open the doors with - skeleton keys that were quirky and it took a few minutes to get them to work every time. There was no complimentary water, no slippers or any of the normal things a four star has. The kitchen staff ladies were very nice but the manger on duty was not pleasant at all and made us feel very unwelcome. We had booked for 3 days and after 2 wanted to leave. We asked if someone else wanted to book the room if we could leave and not have to pay and stay the 3rd night. She told us we can leave but would still have pay and she would rebook the room and collect again on it from the next guest. She said she had lost money on having us move from the musty room. We were so uncomfortable around her that we would just stay in the room until she left. How they go all the glowing reviews is beyond me. I will be surprised if this is posted.

No check-in, no staff on site unless restaurant was open at night. Had 3 different Wi-Fi networks, I never got the password to the only one that reached the room despite asking several times over phone, mail and in person. Door never closed all the way. Ok cleanliness.

You REALLY need more than one roll of toilet paper for 4 people for 2 days. Air conditioning stopped working on last night.

Bit noisy for us

Great location to the ferries, nice restaurants and cafe locally. Gent who greeted us was very friendly. Rooms were quirky and very old, which I loved and a great view from our window or room 3 of the lake.

The toilet was just a curtain within our room, we have been married 33 years but I still prefer a door. My sister had another room, with a balcony and that had a separate toilet. Steep Hill to the accommodation, and then stairs up to the rooms, not suitable for elderly or over 60’s with bad knees.

Great location within tremezzo, with rustic charm and good communication. Rooms were clean and comfortable enough. We asked for an extra pillow and got one.

We booked here partly for the bar and restaurant in the listing, but these were closed for 2 out the 3 nights. The sign on arrival said open so we actually stayed in tremezzo on first night rather than go to another area of the lakes, and then it just didn't open. Internet didn't work for a couple of days (I had to work, not just complaining about Internet on holiday!). Room not cleaned during stay - not a problem, but it's more of a rental apartment than hotel so keep in mind. Separate review of restaurant.

This place is absolutely adorable and special. Perfect room with breathtaking view to lake Como. This place’s so authentic. And restaurant on the first floor is amazing. The best cuisine which we had during our trip to Italy. Just thank you for our memories!

Easy access, amazing food at the restaurant, and views!

We were in Tremezzo for an anniversary with 10 friends, some staying at cheaper but much better accommodation. Case Aquadulza is off the front but suitable for all amenities. Room was adequate.

The absence of any support facilities. The restaurant/ cafe / bar beneath the rooms was closed. We were not able to get coffee, additional blankets or anything for the room.

The room was in a good location, close to the bus stop and the ferry for visiting Bellagio and Varenna. The room was well ventilated and nicely characteristic of Italian architecture.

The room is situated above the restaurant which plays music until 11pm each night. We were also woken up each morning when the bins were emptied by the hotel next door. the hot water didn’t last for 2 persons showers on our 1st night so we learnt to leave a break before the second to jump in to allow it to reheat.
