Nice place but not if you want to sleep

Very nice, large and well equipped apartment in the city centre (close to the castle and the abbeys).The hosts replied fast, view on the harbour, close to restaurants...

The building is situated in an area with a rather vivid night life (we stayed there on a Friday) the bar on the ground floor had loud music till 3 AM, and there was noise nuisance the entire night. We hardly slept.

The building is a bit old and you need to walk up two floors with your luggage.

Noise and Parking

Location

The representative met us at the apartment and handed over the keys. We asked about the Free Private Parking that the apartment advertised TWiCE on booking .com. Even sent them a screen shot. That is non existent and parking is across the road which you pay for if you can get in. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and a put u up sofa bed. It has a very small en-suite plus a small bathroom. ONE toilet. If this apartment was full then this would not certainly be ideal. When we queried this through booking.com along with the parking which we sent over the screen shot the host replied if we don’t like the apartment they will refund. Nice customer service wouldn’t you say? The apartment is over restaurants as well as bars plus a karaoke bar and also a disco. From Thursday to Saturday each night from 9pm to 02.00 was a constant noise of music. We even tried sleeping in the back bedroom of the apartment which made no difference. No sleep!! The apartment was 2 flight of stairs up. The light outside the front door did not work so when arriving home when dark proved a little tricky when trying to open the 2 locks on the door. If staying on a Sunday beware that most restaurants are closed. There is very limited availability of where to eat. Outside the main entrance door was rubbish left on various occasions from the restaurants etc.We have used booking .com twice now for properties abroad and on both occasions have had issues with the property details. Don’t think when travelling abroad again we shall use booking.com

Nous avons aimé - l'agencement de l'appartement , très pratique et moderne , - la localisation par rapport à l'hypercentre et la proximité des arrêts de bus dont celui pour aller au Mémorial _la vue sur le port de plaisance Concernant le parking , nous avons pu décharger nos bagages devant l'entrée de l'immeuble , une place était libre. Puis nousommes allés garer la voiture vers la rue basse où le parking est gratuit . Il faut marcher environ 10 mn .

Appartement tres bien situé en centre ville mais au dessus d'un bar tres bruyant qui organise des soirées du jeudi au dimanche soir y compris le soir de Noel . La musique résonne dans les 3 chambres jusqu'à 2-2-h30 du matin puis il faut supporter les vociférations de la clientèle dehors sur le trottoir jusqu'à plus de 3h du matin .Malgré des bouchons d'oreille , difficile de dormir . Je ne recommande pas cet appartement aux familles avec des enfants et aux gros dormeurs .Dommage car l'appartement est bien agencé pour une grande famille

Tout était impeccable, appartement bien placé proche de tout à pied, parking facile devant l'immeuble, spacieux, super bien équipé, très propre et très calme.

appartement très agréable dans l'ensemble mais l'environnement n'a pas que du positif.

situation géographique et vue agréable. Le logement était propre et spacieux, très bien équipé.

les ustensiles de cuisine, notament les poëles sont en très mauvais état. Pas d'accroche pour le pommeau de douche dans la baignoire donc on innonde partout. Pas de lumière dans le couloir d'entrée à l'appartement, il faut prendre son portable pour avoir de la lumière quand on rentre le soir. Si l'appartement est bien situé, lorsque l'on vient en voiture il est très difficile de trouver une place de stationnement, même si on vient en basse saison (le parking en face est payant et non accessible le week end car marché sous les fenêtres le dimanche matin). Impossible de dormir le samedi soir avant 3h du matin, le lundi avant 1h, la musique du bar du dessous, ainsi que les gens dans la rue sous les fenêtres de l'une des chambres font beaucoup trop de bruit, même en basse saison. Ce dernier point est vraiment le plus difficile à vivre.

Soggiorno con vista sul canale.

Bell"appartamento in ottima posizione, molti ristoranti nei pressi e se non spaventa camminare, sono raggiungibili a piedi anche la maggior parte dei siti di interesse turistico. Per il Memoriale occorre l'auto.

All'arrivo l'ngresso su strada non predispone bene ma poi entrati in casa ci si ricrede subito. L'unica pecca è che un solo wc non è sufficiente per la capienza di ospiti dell'appartamento.

Le logement bien quoiqu’en détail la propreté pourrait être améliorée

On nous demande de ne pas faire de bruit passée une certaine heure (normal) mais impossible de dormir avant 2h du matin car la musique des bars à proximité puis un voisin dans l’escalier avec sa musique trop forte nous a empêché de dormir!!! De plus l’accueil incertain nous a contraint à patienter sur le trottoir dans l’attente d’une personne pour nous faire entrer dans la location. Protocole bizarre!!!
