breakfast was good, food overall was excellent very special
the evening menu was just a la carte menu with nouveau cuisine which was very nice but not what we were expecting we thought it was just pub food

There was a relaxed and comfortable feel to the place. Slightly quirky but with great service. The chef clearly knows how to cook as well!
Not the fault of the property but a local who had clearly had a good night at the bar was extremely rude when we were going to bed when the staff lowered the volume on the music. He didn’t like being challenged about it either.

Musty smell in room
No TV
No milk with tea and coffee in room
When ordering food asked waitress is lamb came with potatoes and liver came with veg and were told no so ordered these items as sides. When meals came the lamb had potatoes the liver some veg so the sides were unnecessary and a waste. Staff need to know what is going to be on a plate
