It was the perfect property for our family of six meet, have a meal together and enjoy our evening.

The property was very spacious.

If there had been a washing up cloth, it would have been easier to wipe down the kitchen surfaces.

Nice interior if you can withstand the cold.

The apartment is clean, has a nice modern feel to it. Enough living room area.

HEATING: The only reason this property is getting a low rating from me is due to lack of proper heating. I am African. We have summers from January to December. I am not used to cold. The property owners had placed a limit on the automated heating system(Obviously to save energy). I couldn't adjust the temperature. I WAS FREEZING IN THERE. (Yes, i booked during "summer" but a constant 19~21' degree isn't something i am used to)

Our second stay at this property

This was our second stay at this property. It really suited our needs as a family of 4 with 2 teenage children. The house is spacious with a fantastic back room which could be a living room or a bedroom with a shower room. The garden was done nicely although we couldn't use it as it was cold. The property has off-street parking at the front, and although there was room for our car, we would suggest cutting back the side edge as it was a bit difficult to get into it. But overall, we most certainly recommend this property.

Brilliant stay in this lovely property

The property was perfect for our needs. We were very impressed with the size of the house, the living space downstairs was great with one front living room at the front, kitchen dinner, and a large room at the back with a toilet/shower room. There was even a Christmas tree set up in the front room! :-) Upstairs there were 3 good-sized bedrooms with double beds; the smaller of the 3 had 2 single beds but didn't feel tight. There were 2 modern bathrooms, one with a bath/shower and the other with a shower. All the rooms and bathrooms were newly decorated, and the showers had good pressure and nice hot water. The location was ideal for us to visit family and there was off-street parking which was great. Although everything seemed nicely finished inside, the garden is still a work in progress, but this wasn't an issue for us as it was cold and we were not planning on using the garden, I think if it's finished for summer it'll be a lovely feature to the property.

We were happy with everything at the property, but perhaps the only thing I'd mention is to trim back the hedge on the side and front of the drive, as getting into it was a bit tight, having said that the drive is wide enough to get in and out. And also, the back room, as it's quite large, felt a bit cold even when the heating was on. But these were just small issues as we really enjoyed our stay.

Superb

Nice location and neighbourhood. House had plenty of space and amenities. All bedrooms have TV's as well as 2 reception rooms and three bathrooms. Great for a family. Will definitely stay again.

Clean, comfy and handy

Spacious and in a nice quiet location. Easy to get a taxi or bus to city centre which is about 10-15 mins drive. The place was spacious and comfortable. Shops only a few minutes walk too. Beth set up single beds for us too as there were 5 of us staying which was really helpful and communication was excellent and very welcomig

We enjoyed our stay and once the garden is complete it will be a good base for a family holiday.

The beds were comfortable. The showers were very good. There was lots of space. The location in the south of Sheffield was very convenient for us. Beth was very quick and helpful in response to enquiries.

It is still a work in progress so there was no garden access.

Wonderful and Amazing 🥰

Beth and Sam were a wonderful hosts! They are kind, prompt and helped us with every aspect of our reservation and stay. Their place is clean, well designed and spacious. There are many great coffee shops, restaurants and shops in walking distance and the neighborhood itself is great! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at Ark accommodation and would recommend it…Thanks Beth and Sam!

Don't stay here

The host refunded our 3rd night after we left early

Dust from the recent extension all over the house. Very noisy works still on going in the garden which was unusable and dangerous, and absolutely no privacy from the workers without sitting in darkness. The sofa in the front room was dirty from dust, hairs and stains on it. I could go on but these were my main issues.

Perfect for our needs friendly and welcoming.

Its a work in progress but its already good now. Just hope we can afford it once its all finished! My wife praised the taste and consistency throughout. We broke a glass but there was no fuss.

Didn't bother us in 2 bedrooms and the all new back room but tv's need making ready. Front needs sprucing up and back but we knew that already.

some finishes of the house could have been tidied up but i do understand the back of the house is still having works done. this didn’t effect my stay at-all and im sure it will look even better once complete :)

Convenient house with good facilities

It was nice, a nice house and the bed was nice. There were good plugs in the bedroom and good lighting. The duvet was warm and pillows good. It was warm and the lounge was comfortable. Parking was easy. Check in and out was easy.

Overall the property needed a bit of upkeep. Such as the front door, needed a bit of maintenance. The bathroom lights were very harsh, it would be nice to have a mirror light as well. There was no lock on the bathroom door.

Sheffield house

Nice and clean, fully equipped house. Lovely for a stay as you feel like at home. We stayed there as a family. Great location as we wanted to visit Sheffield as well as areas out of town. So easy to contact the host and all of my questions were answered almost immediately. Definitely recommended!
