The apartment was in a good location for travel in and around Sheffield. It was generally clean, Tv was good and working, kitchen was clearly new and well maintained. The furnishings were relatively modern and the shower was good.
The apartment was on the ground floor so didn’t really feel safe / like a good idea to leave the windows open and it was absolutely boiling hot, so really could have done with a fan. The bed is also very short, far too short for my husband and quite claustrophobic. The sofa was oddly upright so a bit uncomfortable. The floors were dirty (people’s hair clips on the floor) and lightbulbs missing from the lamps. The toilet was broken and I’d recommend somewhere to hang coats. The hallway (which I appreciate is beyond control of the flat owner somewhat) really smells. The parking is unclear and we were recommended parking almost 40 mins walk away. There is some parking close by that’s not restricted you just have to look for it.
