A holiday that will be fondly remembered

The unit was spacious and ideal for our family of four. It was well-equipped with everything we needed and conveniently located near the cliff walk—where we were lucky enough to spot whales during our October visit. Laetitia was a fantastic host, offering helpful recommendations for affordable, family-friendly activities. One highlight was an evening hike into the hills to see fireflies, a magical seasonal experience in October.

The facilities at the flat were excellent. The owners of the flat were very welcoming and knew exactly where to eat and what to do. A home away from home Will definitely use it as a base again when we go to Hermanus.

Perfect for a weekend or even longer

Firstly, pet-friendly. We only have a small, elderly yorkie, but he slotted right in. Both bedrooms were exceptionally well-appointed with lots of cupboard space and hangers. The main bathroom was huge and the second bathroom also ample. Furniture and fittings were of very good quality. Laetitia was responsive and accommodating. Two minutes' walk to the cliff path and less than five minutes to the shopping centre. Secure, with shutters on all the doors, and parking inside. There's microwave, coffee bodum, air-fryer, electric frying pan and an induction plate, so even in the compact kitchen there is everything you need. Even a portable gas-heater and lots of blankets for those chilly nights. Most floors are tiled so cleaning is easy.

I loved the Location. It's close to the beach, close to the shops. It's nice and quite area. I loved everything about the property. It's safe and the rooms are exceptionally awesome. I would recommend the place and I would love to go back again

Outdoor braai is very nice. Security was very good, being able to sleep with the sliding doors open for air was great. Very quiet neighbourhood. Worked perfectly for the 4 of us, having 2 bathrooms was a bonus.

Very friendly hosts, customer orientated, and going out of their way to make your stay as good as possible! They seem to be making improvements continuously !! Great staying. Lucas and Laetitia are fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful (they helped us in searching for a trial in the close by nature park + provided great tips in terms of restaurants and things to do). The unit we stayed in was very spacious, big bedroom and bathroom. Great to stay with kids as they have also little kids and a small playground. Access to cliff path is just crossing the road. Hope to come back with my family.

Lovely breakaway cottage with all the home comforts and 5 minutes away form the sea

As pet owners we always find it hard to locate places that are pet-friendly and was so chuffed when we found this establishment in a great location. It is fully walled with a electric gate so your pets are secure. The actual cottage has 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a little lounge/kitchen area which was sufficient for our stay. The views are great as you can see the beautiful mountain ranges and sometimes get a glimpse of the paragliders. A bonus is that the area has a table/chair set where you can sit and have a braai on the Weber but been winter we decided to eat out. The hosts are such lovely, relaxed people and also so willing to help if need be. It's also only about 5 mins walk to the sea and cliff paths and has a few beaches close by. In this difficult economy it's priced well with all the comforts of home so I can definately recommend this cottage and will be telling our friends and family of this wonderful place we found for a short breakaway from Cape Town! Thank you Lucas and Laeticia

These are suggestions only: As a pet friendly property I would recommend a small vacuum for dog hairs or alternatively a broom and scoopy to sweep up hair. The other thing a 2 slice toaster would be great for easy breakfast options as opposed to using the grill/snackwich machine to toast the bread.

Perfect for a breakaway to Hermanus. Exceptional clean and comfortable. Lovely mountain views and very short walk to beautiful Cliff walk. Hosts were also attentive with surprise welcome! We will be back!

All rooms are sunny and mountain-facing. Good location within easy walking distance to Cliff Path. Quiet. The treehouse and play area for small children is special. Hosts Laetitia and Lucas really friendly.

No toaster. Small work space in kitchen. Soaps provided had been used. Bath mats not clean.
