Great location but rather spartan and not cheap

Friendly informative staff on check in. Onsite secure parking and easy to find. Great burger/raclette restaurant a few steps away. Spotlessly clean room, hot shower comfy bed.

Hotel has recently changed hands and is trying hard but is starkly decorated and the rooms are barely furnished with the minimum of everything. Not at all cosy or welcoming. Cardboard walls and vinyl floors meant a noisy night as one can hear every word and every step from the other rooms. Wifi didn't work away from the bar. Worst coffee from an instant machine for breakfast when there was a full espresso machine station in the bar that was not used. Mediocre choice for breakfast. Could be so much nicer with a few cosy touches as the location is great. But this is more like a hostel than a hotel

Ideal location for Gien with views and parking

Easy check in, large secure parking area, good sized room with double bed, bathtub and efficient air-conditioning. Perfect view across Loire to the Gien town and medieval chateau (bridge to cross is 3-5mins away).

If it was needed, not in Gien area of the old town.

Good value budget hotel in ideal position for those cycling on the Loire

Inexpensive, by the river (but with a somewhat noisy road in between), garage for cycles and a house Martin nest right by our window with chicks being fed every few minutes (quietly I’d add) and old-school bath

Breakfast not brilliant - ok coffee from machine and standard packages of jams, butter; a croissant & bread

Das Hotel ist schon älter und die Einrichtung auch. Es benötigt dringend eine Renovierung. In unserem Zimmer gab es viele Spinnen. Ich hab circa 10 gezählt.
