Cosy vibe with real fires, low ceilings and Kingston Press cider on tap! The shower and bath were lovely. Food was high quality and well presented, fabulous breakfast. Bed comfortable and area very quiet at night. It’s also right next to Pendle Hill walking routines. Sadly, we couldn’t partake in them due to injury, but we made the most of the cosy accommodation instead. Of course the fact the area is associated with ‘witches’ does not mean that there is/was any real magic associated with the area … certainly persecution … however, the area felt thick with atmosphere in a ‘haunted’ way and we couldn’t help but wonder if the long nails embedded into the wooden beams in room 2 had been placed deliberately to ward off evil spirits?
Nothing.

It has a very cosy feel about it with the stone walls, beams and fires.
The food was excellent (Evening meal and breakfast) and the room was modern and comfy

I love the area very much and it's a lovely cosy pub for eating. Breakfast was lovely and we managed to park right outside the door.
My room was chilly and the staff didn't ask us if we wanted dessert. Eventually we got their attention and asked for the dessert menu only to be told that they had stopped serving and there was no chance of dessert.

Evening dinner was great - food was superb. Breakfast good too. Cosy pub with decent rooms.
Just felt the bathrooms were a little dated/ shower over the bath not so good.

Generally I did like the place!:) The pub was very cosy, there was a parking space to leave the car, room was spacious, overlooking the little river - loved the sound of it behind the window!:) Breakfast was nice too, and served from 8-10:30, nice to have that wide time range avaiable.
Would be nice to have some soap at the washbasin - it's a bit troublesome to take the soap from the shower gel dispenser over the bath tube every time you wanna wash your hands...
And there was no soap whatsoever... bit unusual...
Also I'd put a table lamp at the table, would be useful to have one there.

Could do with new bedding as duvet cover had multiple holes.

Lovely feel. Great setting. Very clean and well kept.
The shower screen in the bathroom wasn’t fit for purpose.

Good location, friendly staff.
Limited parking with none reserved for guests, my husband had to wait almost 30 mins for a space as visitors are not permitted to park on the road (reserved for locals) and there were no overnight parking options available. For the price of the hotel this is quite bad. I also noted that my husband paid £20 more for his room which was a little less nice and he stayed solo, there was no reduction even to reflect that there was only one breakfast required instead of two.

The room was esthetically pleasing.
The location was scenic.
The breakfast area was cosy.
The room was quite dusty and had cob webs.
The staff weren't very welcoming or friendly.
The breakfast sausage were undercooked and the bacon overcooked (but this is down to personal preference). I would usually expect two sausages on a full English breakfast.

Nice place. Nice location for our needs.
Food was lovely.
Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Enjoyed our stay.
Car park was a little tight, especially if someone parked off mark but we found a space every night.

Location, friendly helpful staff, cosy atmosphere.
Cost, we booked in advance through Booking. com and paid nearly double what we could have got if we had booked directly with the venue.

The area of the hotel and waking up to the sound of the countryside.

The staff as a main were welcoming and attentive, particularly in the restaurant.
Very poor value for money, cheap furnishings poorly kept room, noisy boiler room next to room 3. £165 for the night is very expensive and photos not representative of reality. Step in the room unsafe and no clear visual and illuminated markings. Overall very disappointed.

Located very conveniently for Pendle Hill. Pub has a nice atmosphere and our evening meal was good.
The room was very small, and the promised 'soundproofing' was sorely lacking. Loud music and people singing/talking continued until after midnight. Breakfast was a little disappointing with no offering of any fruit or yoghurt. Cooked breakfast nice, but pretty standard. Only space for 3 cars in the carpark.
A big NO-NO for us was the maid tidying our clothes - it felt like an invasion of our privacy that someone folded our clothes and put them in our suitcases.

The location was right where we needed it to be. Breakfast was delicious
An event took place the next day and we got a knock on the door to move the car from their car park. This information could have been relayed to us on booking.com or when we checked in. Breakfast we sat there a good 20 minutes before someone came and asked what we would like to drink. We got our tea & coffee then we seemed to have been forgotten about for breakfast until I asked them to take our order.

This was second time we’ve stayed but 7 years between visits. Wonderful, cosy and welcoming. Staff are lovely and can’t do enough to insure your stay is wonderful. Spotlessly clean and superb food encourages repeat visitors.
Parking can be an issue but at the moment customers are allowed to park in The Pendle Inn hotel.

Superb location, great staff, room was good, bed comfortable. A few niggles with the room like the door did not close unless banged closed and a tile loose in the bathroom but it did not affect the overall staff. Hopefully we did not wake others up with the door.
