Villa Jumar

The pool was amazing, the villa was huge and a very traditional Portuguese home. Quick walk into the Old Town and Ubers easily booked and very cheap Lots of towels and beach towels available. Dishwasher and washing machine very good BBQ facilities available Fab fridge/freezer Pool table a hit with everyone Excellent communication with Dreamplaces

No handwash in the bathrooms. I left 5 of them when I left but guess they are removed. Advised damage deposit to be returned between 7-14 days post departure, this seems a very long time considering the cleaning company were in a few hours after we left. Day 14 arrived and I had not received the deposit. Took quite a few messages till it was returned in full. Only one tea towel in the kitchen and a sharp knife would have been good

House was excellent, plenty of space for a family of 10, kitchen came with everything needed to eat in and outside cooking areas, quiet peaceful area at night. Only a 10 min walk from the main square with a supermarket less than 5 min away, will definitely book again.

Cant fault anything, communication with host was brilliant, answered any questions quickly.

the property was only a 40 minute transfer from Faro airport. it was a short walk to Albuferia marina and cost roughly €4 to get into the centre of Albufeira (you could walk this but we didn’t due to having small children with us). there was restaurants and a shop within walking distance. check in was very easy , the communication with dream places was very good. The swimming pool was fantastic.

the property was dated and there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms upon arrival. we didn’t need to use the basement level bedroom but agree with other reviews it did smell damp down there.

The facility was very spacious, clean and beautiful views. We had tons of space for our group of nine people, and we loved the outdoor space for cooking our own meals. We will definitely come back next time.

We found it inconvenient that there was no hand soap, dish soap, paper, towel, salt, and pepper, extra toilet paper or extra towels available. We made the trip to the grocery store down the road, but it would’ve been nice to have those basic amenities supplied.
