It was close to where my son lived.

There was an infestation of ladybirds and they kept coming into the bedroom, on the walls, door and floor. One of the sinks had no water. After the 3rd night we moved to another room but this room was freezing cold. Breakfast was self service with paper plates and bowls, plastic cutlery. Only bread, yoghurt, cereal and prepackaged waffles and strawberry jam on offer. Paper cups for tea/coffee and orange juice.

Great stay. Ideal for quick overnight stay. Excellent value.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful. We had booked last minute to stay for a concert. The price was very good and it wasn't too far from the city centre. The parking was adequate as well athough if you come in very late there may be no parking left. The room was large and had everything we needed including a fan as it was rather warm on the top floor. The beds where comfortable and the room was tidy and laid out well. A continental breakfast was included also in price. The value was excellent and we would definitely stay again.

The room was on the top floor which was quite a hike with bags but we managed by taking our time. The room floor was quite dirty and my socks ended up covered in dirt/dust so had to change them twice which put me off walking on the floor. The room could really use a lamp also as there was no way to put off all the lights and just relax at night with a book. I understand kosher lamps are available for Jewish guests but it would be great if a small lamp could be provided for other guests to use if they wanted to do so otherwise you then have to sit with a large light on which isnt ideal. There was also no milk in our room for tea or coffee.

Excellent Hotel! Great location, lovely clean rooms, great staff!

The staff were really lovely and friendly. They all made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely family room which was very spacious and very clean. Lovely little touches like a mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, a fan because it was an extremely hot day when we stayed and some toiletries. Also a lovely complimentary breakfast was provided too. The location was great for us. We attended a concert at Heaton Park which was a 30 minute walk away.

The only downside for us was the price we paid for the room. Because there was a big gig on at Heaton Park all the hotels in the area doubled their prices. This was the only downside for us because everything else about the hotel was great! Would definitely stay again.

Great pleace close to Heaton park

Great location for our Heaton Park concert. Bus stop for Manchester stops just in front of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful since we arrived late. Deacent breakfast, could be better, could be worse.

Small fridge in the room would be nice. Also, a lot of insects in the room since it was unusualy hot in Manchester.

Good hotel and great price for a very expensive marathon weekend

The hotel is small but it makes you feel very welcome. The staff was very nice, the room was great and the beds were amazing too. They also gave us a complementary breakfast for free 😊. It is quite close to the city centre, in around 15 mins by bus you are there. Very happy to have spent our weekend there.

Lovely stay

Hotel was lovely, room was lovely & clean with a comfortbale bed. We stayed the night before a trip to Manchester airport. 30 mins from the airport, comfortable stay in a family room - kids room connected to ours. Reception staffed 24/7. Both rooms had table fans which was a nice touch and needed in the humid heat.

The shower was very small. First glance it looks great, over head rainfall style with a hose attachment for hand held shower head. But inside was difficult not to bump elbows on walls. Im only 5'5" and a UK size 8. It was also difficult to set the temperature and stopping the shower was a bit of a faff. Took a while to figure out. Neither room had a TV, kids watched their tablets but do enjoy cartoons on a TV in the hotel. Plug sockets had USB on them, but not all in convenient places. Couldn't figure out how to switch the bathroom light off, or the light in the vestibule/ hall area. Disrupted my sleep as I need total dark to sleep

No public toilets on ground floor. No lifts. It would really help if there was a small fridge in the room. The hotel is supposed to cater for Orthodox Jewish guests. Perhaps the dress code of hotel staff could be improved.

Lovely & friendly but note this is a Jewish hotel

The one staff member we met went out of his way to be helpful, friendly & welcoming, even providing extra snacks to my diabetic husband. He deserves a bonus. It is spacious clean & excellent value for money. It is no doubt the perfect accomadation for the Jewish community.

There was no indication that this was a Jewish hotel: I found out by accident. This should be made clear. The reason for this is that some people prefer not to stay in accomadation that has a religious connection & some may not eat Kosher food for various reasons. For us, it was an insightful & intetesting stay but my husband, a non Jewish farmer does like a full English which is obviously not on the menu here! The food was plentiful & tasty but be mindful that everything is kosher! Neither myself no my husband are Jewish. If the fact that it was Jewish had been clear, I would have rated it 10/10.

We were welcomed by what I assumed was the manager or owner, and I found his manner quite brusque, Please and thank you didn't seem to be in his vocabulary. The night manager was much more friendly and helpful however. Be aware that if you book the family suite with 2 rooms and 1 bathroom, that the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms, so you have to go through this bedroom if you're sleeping in the other bedroom. It's fine if you know each other well enough. Also be aware that it's a good 20-30 minute walk to the nearest pub if you're looking for a drink and something to eat.

Family room option. Myself and hubby in room with our two kids.

No TV (I appreciate this might be for religious reasons - but it should be made very clear when booking that this hotel caters strongly for its local orthodox community) Paper cups instead of proper cups for the complimentary tea/coffee in room. Again, all disposable cutlery/crockery for the Continental Breakfast - gives the feel of creating convenience first for the hotel staff, rather than high standards for its guests. Not the biggest selection of choices when it came to the continental breakfast. Staff member at reception was very welcoming/helpful though, so kudos to him.

Good value B&B hotel. Hotel is very clean and everything worked as it should. Beds were comfortable, shower great. Free parking with a bus stop opposite the hotel with buses every 10/15 minutes into the city centre.
