Cycling across France and Switzerland

The apartment was quite small but clean and comfortable. It was in a quiet location but within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the town. There is a tram stop close by. The kitchen facilities were excellent. There was storage for our bicycles.

The bed was against a wall, so my wife and I slept across the bed which was okay for us as we are not particularly tall. This is not a complaint against the hosts, but it was here we discovered our two-pin European travel adaptors did not work and we needed to buy a Swiss travel adaptor. These were available at the local Coop supermarket.

It was near to the groceries and pharmacies,walking distance to the city centre and close to the bus stops.

Some nights were hot and there should at least be a fan in the room.

Exceptional

Really nice and clean apartment. The furniture and the equipment for the bathroom seemed to be all very new. The location was great to drive to the airport everyday and for occasional visits to the heart of the city too. In the near vicinity there is a Migros and a Coop for grocery shopping.

There were no adapters for electronical devices with European plugs.

Superb

A nice room in a modern building. Easy to get keys from a locked box. Location is not very central, but it's very easy to reach the railway station and city centre by bus, the stop is right near the building and it runs frequently. A little private plot with a table outside the apartment is a great option too (unless it is so hot outdoors as it was during our stay...)

It was very hot during our stay, and the apartment doesn't have air conditioning, just the fan that didn't help a lot. All wall outlets are of Swiss type and don't accept large 'Schuko' plugs (I had one on my laptop charger). An adapter would help, but there was none. There were some capsules for the coffee machine, but we failed to buy more of them, as the machine doesn't accept standard Nespresso or Dolce Gusto capsules, but requires some rare type of them (Delta), which we couldn't find in local stores.

Very good

The studio was very clean, the kitchen was beautifully furnished (new appliances such as coffee maker, toaster, etc.). The studio is close to the center. Communication with the owner was via messages on booking.com, it worked well. The bathroom was also very clean, modern. There was enough coffee, tea and small chocolates, which was very nice and pleasant.

The studio is very small, but we could count on it. It is also a bit dark, the announced garden (terrace) is on a slope and therefore one can see just the concrete wall in front of himself/herself. Unfortunately, the biggest problem was parking. As a filter in booking.com we have chosen "parking", according to Genius 3 we have been assured that we are entitled to free parking. This also appeared in the confirmation! However, "free parking" was meant only 90 minutes during the day! This was a big problem for us, because my husband is handicapped (he can't walk much). When I complained about this fact, we were advised to take the car to the "long durée" car park for 8 francs a day, which is (according to Google maps) a kilometer and a half away. Unfortunately, two bus stops near this parking lot had a broken ticket machine. We therefore felt "trapped". I therefore recommend that you have more precise information on booking.com, what actually means "parking at the hotel/studio for free"!

Séjour très pratique et agréable.

J’ai apprécié la propreté et l’équipement et aussi les capsules de café et les petits chocolats de bienvenue ! Il y a aussi un petit jardin avec une table et le quartier est très agréable pour se promener. Je recommande !
