The location of the hotel was amazing , right in the centre .

It was the night of storm Amy, the dinner finished at 7pm so I missed that, not a problem, the bar closed at 9pm because staff had to travel home, not a problem with that at all, my issue is I didn't receive a discount because of the early shut down, I was charged the full €120.00 , very unfair, again no problem with the early kitchen and bar closing, but should have reflected in the price,

The location so amazing, the team and their kindness, helpfulness and customer service beyond all expectations. Couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcome looked after me so so well. The food was to die for and the breakfast kept me going all day. Delicious. Thanks to Karen, Martina, Ruth and all the lovely team.

Comfortable/Center of town stay.

Large, comfy room. Cold water for the sink temporarily shut off but not critical. Shower/Tub good.. Top floor a bit 'toasty', open windows helped. While we prefer a "walkabout" for dinner, the Hotel menu looked excellent.

Music from Pubs past midnight not so bad but loud arguments in the street a built much. A few extra pillows for the room would make it more comfortable.

What a letdown...

The bakery nextdoor.

Busy road with traffic and tourists, incessant noise in the room with windows closed. Waferthin walls! Talking, coughing and SNORING preventing you from falling asleep. The second night it sounded as if someone was preparing for a bank heist. Lots of metal on metal noises. Or were they trying to rip the toilet out of the floor? There is NO night porter and all you have is a number for emergencies. Slow service during breakfast.

Enjoyable but noisy

The staff were lovely and always seems very busy. The room was lovely. We ate there when we arrived and the food was lovely. The breakfast the next morning was lovely too.

The hotel is situated on a main street so it was very noisy. There was a man with a leaf blower at 8am in the morning and the night before you had the noise from the pubs so not the place for a quiet stay.

Superb location, and very convenient located above the pub which offers good quality food. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and generous. Only downside was the bedding, especially the single bed which had a very sagging matress and box-spring.

Lovely, friendly hotel.

Nice spacious room in a main street hotel. Parking was easy and not expensive in the street. Staff were lovely. Had a great lunch there one day, and the breakfasts were very generous. Large bathroom and bed as comfy, only a double. Being a triple room made it more spacious. There are stairs to both floors.

Nothing about the hotel. There was a lot of noise from the bar across the road both nights until late, which was sleep disturbing.

the staff was very nice and made everything possible to make us comfortable (they add a third bed in our room) we also forgot our wallet and they sent it by mail very fast. The view from the restaurant is astoundishing also

We had a very enjoyable stay in this location.

This hotel was an ideal place to stay in the centre of Clifden town. We were greeted with a warm welcome from all the staff which were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and clean which added to the comfort. I would certainly be returning again!

Friendly owner and staff, very good breakfast, comfortable bar/restaurant with varied menu and pretty sea views; located on major business street with shops, pubs, and restaurants within easy walking distance; parking available on the street in front of the hotel for reasonable rate; located for lots of good day trips; small-town feeling with people who seem to know everyone else and are also friendly to tourists with whom they may strike up a conversation. I would definitely go back.

Great location in a town full of nice restaurants and shops. The room was big, comfortable and quiet. Basic but had all the amenities we needed. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being dog friendly was a big bonus as there aren't many dog friendly options around.

Great location, good breakfast but overpriced for basic facilities.

Breakfast both mornings of our 2 night stay was lovely. Full Irish well cooked, plenty of tea and toast/coffee and cereals etc. Servers were friendly and polite and service was prompt. The hotel is excellently located in the town centre of Clifden and public car parking is available on the street outside and is free between 7pm and 9am. Rooms are basic but shower pressure was good.

Bathroom is outdated and side covering of bath was loose and caused a minor laceration to my leg one night as it was sticking out and caught me. Windows in rooms are not the best and let in a lot of outside noise from the street. No lift and a lot of stairs to climb to rooms. Stayed in late September for 2 nights and felt the rooms were over priced for what you get and this seems to be the norm in Ireland these days. 2 nights, single and double rooms, 3 people was 525 euros. Very pricey for off season in Ireland and for good but basic facilities.
